Reviews of Meat Project | Best All You Can Eat BBQ Centreville VA
"DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SICK!!! My husband and I went for a late lunch today and we were shocked by every single thing. The meats’ quality was very bad and the side dishes tasted like it was made a long time ago and went bad (you can smell/taste sourness). We both felt nauseous and threw up multiple times and it’s still going on. This was the only meal we had today, so it cannot be from anything else. Pretty sure we have food poisoning. I’ve worked in food service for many years and the food safety for more people to come are concerning, so I will take this matter to health department for food safety . On top of all sickening experiences, sauces were way too sweet and the rice seemed like it was made yesterday too-it was hard. The servers are lacking customer service experiences too as I couldn’t hear what they were saying and they could not understand what we were ordering so they came back multiple times to ask again what we wanted. It seems like the owner wants to save every penny possible. If you want to do business well, take all the negative comments seriously. Only go here if you want to be sick and waste your money."
"Looking for a spot to indulge in some mouth-watering Korean BBQ? Look no further than Mear Project restaurant! With their top-notch meat and exceptional service, this place is a haven for foodies. The vibrant and energetic atmosphere makes it the perfect destination for group hangouts. Don't miss out on this thrilling dining experience!"
"Came here with friends on a Sunday around 4-5pm and it wasn't busy at all. We only waited around 5 minutes because they were getting our table ready. Our server was very attentive and checked on us continuously. The food portion was pretty big and very fresh. The menu has a variety of choices of different pork, beef, and seafood. Definitely recommend the honey butter squid and red wine pork belly. Definitely check it out if you're in the area."
"Our first impressions of this restaurant was a disappointment, the sides at the table were very little could be finished in one bite. Barely any rice in the container. And a tiny squirt of each sauce. Bad first impressions at the fact that the sides and sauces seemed every skimped. The service was also very slow, had to ask multiple times for more water or sauce, and even sides that were very little. But the meats seemed to be of good quality, very tasty and tender. Spicy Bullgogi was delicious and actually spicy. The over all experience would of been better if the sauces and side dishes weren’t very little servings and didn’t have to ask multiple times for refills."
"Service was good! Always packed, so we came around 3pm. Salad was good. Brisket is always the first to order since it is the fastest meat to cook."
