Reviews of Taco Bamba Taqueria
"taco bamba is easily one of the best taco spots in the entire DMV not only do they have traditional tacos such as barbacoa or carne asada, they also have what they are calling tacos nuestros, which is basically a new style taco such as chinese sesame chicken (chitty wok chicken) speaking of chitty wok chicken, that is one of my favorites here, and there are a few photos of it attached - it is sesame chicken with macha fried rice, almonds, and fresno chile we also ordered the arabe, the taco bamba, the cactus jack, and bamba wings we had all the items delivered by doordash, and it was still fresh upon arrival the wings were very good, mainly because of the poblano ranch, which is a must try and may need to be asked for as a side sauce expect to pay about $5 per taco, at least for the new style tacos each one is definitely well worth the price, and overall, a meal from taco bamba will end up being on the cheaper side of your takeout selections"
"Have you ever had something that was just fun to eat? Lol. Try the Super Torta at Taco Bamba. A torta is a sandwich in Mexico (while in other Spanish speaking countries, it means cake - which is pastel in Mexico, but enough with the Spanish lesson, back to the food). We had the Torta Bamba, which has 7 meats, with cheese, beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado and Pineapple. It's serious! It's not the greatest tasting sandwich, and needs one of their sauces to elevate it, but what makes it fun is guessing which meat you are getting in each bite. And it's a lot of food. I went in very hungry after a George Mason basketball game, but only ate half (after eating half a taco and half a flauta). Give it a try. We also got a variety of tacos. The birria, shrimp, Arabe, chorizo and al pastor. My favorite was the Arabe. And get the Jeffrey, a flauta, which is a huge spring roll with 3 meats. That was very good. And they serve cocktails as well, we had a couple of different margaritas with Pineapple and passion fruit. They had some kick to them, too, they weren't shy with the tequila. All in all, while the food wasn't outstanding, it was good, and with such a variety of items, you are sure to land on something you'll love. And the staff is very friendly. A solid 4.2."
"Tacos are good but different. Only wasn’t a fan of the fish taco but everything else I ordered was great in my opinion. Cuban Torta was so good"
"This place always brings the flavor! They are usually busy, so I suggest ordering ahead. The chicken quesadilla is always a great option, along with their street corn and glass bottled coke. The Tacos (anyyyy of them) are full of different flavor pairings that make you want to try all of the others. Great energetic atmosphere. The staff is wonderful, and the cooks really put a lot of heart into their food and cooking style. They did update their menu, which just makes them EVEN BETTER!!! Definitely give this place a try!"
"5/5. Was in the area, and decided to stop by hear for some tacos, and Taco Bamba is always a good choice. The Food: Went with my favorite taco, the Lengua Taco. The meat was quality and cooked perfectly. Paired with a nice double tortilla and some onions/cilantro. Can't get any better. The Service: Service was good. Ordering was fast, and orders went out within a timely manner as well. The Atmosphere: Small place, with little seating. But it is setup like almost any other Taco Bamba. Nice decor and huge menu on the wall for you to browse when waiting to order Overall, a 5/5 Solid taco place. getting kind of pricey, but the food is delicious as always."
