"Food was outstanding. Very busy if you go during weekend. Price is very reasonable. One thing that bothered me, they charge 20% for service. For 20% service was not very good. We had to call several times for water or other items and they are slow."
"Best desi food in town. As name implies, their breakfast (halwa poori, out of the world lackha paratha, Nihari, chhole) is delicious. You won’t regret a trip to this restaurant located in a strip mall. Unlike other desi restaurants, staff is extremely polite, and service is great. Don’t forget to top your dinner or breakfast with best chai in town. Dine and enjoy. I wish they pay little attention to the cleanliness of their washrooms."
"We had laccha paratha and vegetable omelet . This was the best flaky paratha and omelet with just the right amount of spices. Serving size is pretty generous, esp For omelet. Halwa puri platter was also good. We have been here before and its our second visit while visiting DC. One star off for 20% gratuity included for 1 or more ppl which is basically for everyone. We noticed it after we made payment including tip. Just be mindful of that . Place gets pretty busy on weekends and there is wait time often. We got our food quicker since it was just 3 of us."
"I’ve grown up eating “real” Pakistani food… so many aunts in the US made it for family gatherings and my various trips to Pakistan I had so many authentic dishes and even amazing street foods… So, now I yearn the authentic flavors and preparation and ever since coming here over a year ago for the first time, I have now found a place where I can get those flavors! This isn’t the typical “local plaza” kabob joint (which, BTW, those aren’t really flavorful, as they make more “American style” food than authentic food), they offer a very traditional meal, the “Pakistani Brunch!” I grew up enjoying this meal at various family’s houses and always enjoyed it, but it’s not until the past 20 years when I can no longer have relatives to visit that I yearn for this meal… Then I found this joint! Desi Breakfast Club does it right and very authentic and that’s why they’re packed for brunch! The flavors are spot-on…. The spices in the dishes are what you’d expect…. The menu is what you desire if you want real, authentic, Pakistani brunch food. Overall, I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been great! Service is excellent too! Prices are very reasonable! I’ll definitely return and highly recommend Desi Breakfast Club to those seeking really good, authentic Pakistani curries (not Indian, especially not Afghan foods)."
