"Such humble family! Every time we order a new dish, it’s always delicious! There’s nothing on the menu that doesn’t taste good."
"Be transported to the islands of the Philippines when you come to this delicious Filipino food stall. Its located at a food court inside Lotte, a korean grocery store. Chef Irene is so kind & incredibly passionate about the food that she makes and one bite of her Chicken Adobo or Liempo will have you feeling like you are in Cebu or Manilla :) I've been two different times with my brother and every single dish that we have tried is easily 10/10. Each dish explodes with flavor and their breakfast dishes will have you rethinking what you eat in the morning! The dishes that we've tried (in order of appearance in the pics) include the Chicken Inasal, Liempo, Garlic Longanisa, Chicken Adobo & the Pork Molasses Tocino. For spicy lovers, you will absolutely love the Chicken Inasal (Pic 1). I believe its grilled on charcoal as it comes to the table incredibly smoky with charred bits. Its basted with a marinade that contains a lot of chili peppers, so if you like spicy food - this is the dish for you!! For chicken lovers that want something on the less spicy side, the Chicken Adobo (Pic 4) will be perfect. Slightly sweet & slighty savory from the soy sauce, sugar, rice wine vinegar marinade - you will be blown away with how tender (and how much chicken) you get for this dish of $10. Try the Garlic Pork Longanisa (Pic 3) to completely change your thinking on what a breakfast sausage should be :) Packed full of garlic & cane sugar, its the perfect way to to begin your day as it comes with a nice fried egg and a scoop of rice. Another incredible breakfast dish that comes complete with a fried egg and scoop of rice is the Pork Molasses Tocino (Pic 5). By far the TASTIEST pork belly I have ever had as it is covered in a delicious molasses, soy, garlic marinade. Definitely on the sweet side, but thats why I love it so much :) If you want a more savory, tangy pork dish - go for the Liempo (Pic 2) as it has lemon juice and rice wine vinegar in its marinade. It also has much more pork belly compared to the Pork Molasses Tocino, but thats why its $15 versus $10 for the other pork belly dish. Its been such an amazing experience at this food stall the two times I've been here, and I can't wait to go back (Pork Sisig & Lechon Kawali are next up)! If you love traditional, home style Filipino cooking that will be served to you an amazing, passionate cook in Chef Irene - this restaurant is for you!"
"I feel like they changed their cook. The sinigang and pancit do not taste the same as before. It tastes different than the usual Filipino food your lola/nanay would cook at home. I added more water to the sinigang because it was too salty. The lechon kawali and Bicol express were very good though."
"Fantastic Filipino food, which is severely lacking in Chantilly. I had the pork Sisig which was very crispy with a mix of tangy and savory flavors. Would highly recommend both the restaurant and the dish."
"Very friendly service, tasty cooked to order food, made fairly quick, and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. But more importantly the taste. Classic Filipino taste with a slight flare. Hard to describe exactly, except for me, it was delicious!"
