"best burger place I have ever been to. I have eaten gourmet burgers, fast food burgers, hipster burgers and every kind of burger you can imagine. But no burger place has ever come close to the consistency and quality of The Burger Shack. I have gone there 5+ times, and every single time I finish my burger in around 20 seconds. It is almost a craze, where I do not realize I am not chewing until all of my food is gone. If I could live here, I would. My go-to order is the Ring of Fire Burger with onion rings and it never fails to disappoint. The thing is, with all of these smash burger places and fancy schmancy burger places you forget about the magic of a classic burger, and that is where it hits the hardest. The only burgers with this meatiness (the kind where they ask how you want it done) are ones that I make. The wait is 5-10 minutes, and the place "appears" a little dingy (maybe even a little shady). But that is the magic of these kinds of places. You arent gonna get this magic from a fancy restaurant. sure the food might be nice and taste good, but it doesn't have the soul. It has the feel of a secret, old vintage diner in the deep south of some town u have never heard of. the food is made with heart, albeit not the healthiest. It has that secret, almost vintage charm. There is little to no wait and the people there are relatively friendly. All in all, I have to limit myself to eating there once a month to preserve the mythicness. It is for special occasions only. There are some days where you are craving a good, old fashioned, American burger and this place is for that. eat here if u like burgers"
"My son loves trying the smaller, non chain burger places. Went in for lunch on Black Friday. The burgers were good, but there was nothing to write home to. The patty melt was little on the dryer side. The ring of fire burger was ok. The Chicago dog was good, and so were the fries. The fried COD is disappointing(the picture will show it all). More than the food , it was the sour face service from the server. We had to correct our order twice. More than that, the attitude was if if he was doing us a favor rather than remembering that we were customers."
"Parking lot was small (only parks about 10 cars) Has lots of seating outside if you go on a warm day. The inside has a medium amount of seating. They had the tvs on children channels. Worked out for me bc I had two kids and that kept them still while we had to wait for our food. You order once you walk in. They provide you a number and once the food is ready someone brings it out to you. Our order was 2 kids meals- cheeseburger & chicken tenders 3 different burgers (2 combos) A fried pickles(spears) which were really good. They were really crispy and intack. All that came out to about $70 Their menu states they have veggies & vegan options. I’ll have to try those another time. I would recommend."
"It looks like a little hole in the wall place but believe me, the burgers are great. I had a veggie burger, but everyone else that I was with said their food was really good. Next time I’ll take more pictures."
"We made an unplanned lunch stop to The Burger Shack today, not realizing I had it marked down. Go in and it's definitely no-frills. Nothing wrong wrong, but counter, some tables, and the smell of griddled beef. There were a lot more options than I had expected. I wasn't starving, so I went with the 3 cheeseburger sliders, my wife had a cheeseburger combo (fries and soda), and we accidentally ended up with an order of fried mac & cheese. I ordered sliders and said, "American cheese," the person at the counter said, "Cheeseburger sliders?", so I confirmed, "Yes, with American cheese." When our order came out we had this extra basket and I mentioned I thought it was a mistake. She showed the ticket and said, "No, you had the fried mac & cheese." I'm guessing my cheese was taken as mac & cheese. They were fine. Burgers were really good and the fries were nice as well."
