"I would never use this business again. Repaired and painted the front bumper cover on my CR-V. When I picked my car up the paint didn't even come close to matching my car. Cover was painted in one building and assembled in another. Tried to convince me to accept the work as it was even though they could clearly see the paint didn't match. They definitely are not proud of their work. Most shops wouldn't even think of letting a car out of their shop the way mine looked. They told me several un-truths also."
"WOW - WOW and WOW!! Where to even start? Monday morning, I went back to the shop to ask about the items I discovered since picking up the car Friday after the shop closed. I ask the receptionist if I could speak to one of the finishers because I had a few questions I wanted to run by them. She directed me to the gentleman standing nearby which turned out to be the owner. (Paul?) I let him know I wasn’t really satisfied with the work on the 2 doors I paid them to finish the week before and asked him if there was anything else they could do to make it look better. The entire finished area had kind of an ‘Orange Peel’ effect (literally resembles the skin of an orange) – whereas the rest of the car had a factory ‘mirror-like’ finish, much as you would expect. (see Example pic) Immediately, he becomes super-defensive; talking over me so I could not even finish my remaining questions and ranting “this finish is best you can get”, implying nowhere else could possibly do better. He said the finish was “matched to the rest of the car” and he “wasn’t about to spend the time wet-sanding a finish on a fleet vehicle” (SERIOUSLY??) A paying client should EXPECT - at a bare minimum - a professional factory finish, worthy of a shop such as this - and regardless of the ‘class’ of vehicle being serviced - Why should that even matter? He made it clear he wasn’t about to stand by his work or make any attempt to meet me halfway on this, so I tried to move onto other items I found and wanted to ask them about. (SO BE FOREWARNED!) HOOD SCRATCHED: So *Something* – a tool, a box or a bag – ‘Something’ was dragged across the hood, scratching it. (See Pics) And before I could even show him a picture of what I was referring to, he was already telling me “Yeah, that was already there”… Now understand something - He 'just' finished giving me an ear-full this was ‘Just a fleet vehicle’ implying it already has door-dings and scratches. If that were the case, how then, did he know to 'which' one I was referring to, without first looking? I persisted. And though barely able to get a word in edgewise at this point, I tried showing him a picture of the overspray of the ArmorAll or Silicone that was all over the hood and side of the car. When that didn’t work I suggested he follow me outside so we could see the real thing. What I could not seem to get across to this clown, was how Interesting and significant it was, that the overspray seemed to be Everywhere - *EXCEPT* where the hood scratch was! I’m no detective - but some common sense here would suggest that ‘something’ was obviously sitting there when the tires, (the hood.. side doors… etc.) were all getting over sprayed with ArmorAll and at some point was removed (dragged off the hood), which then left a clean spot! No Armorall! (Again – See Pics!) At this point, he was ranting so loud, I couldn't get a word in edgewise. All I could do was listen to him rant and shout how “this is the norm!" And "you’re really nitpicking to bring this sort of thing in to us on a Monday morning”. I got the same when I (tried) asking him why there was standing water under ALL my floor mats. He only set him off even more and now he was screaming how much I should "appreciate that they shined up my tires and cleaned my interior" - at which point I couldn't help but ask, “with what – a firehose?” That, or they simply left it sitting there outside with the windows down through one or more of the rainstorms the week before. He made it clear he wasn’t about to take ANY responsibility for the work he or his people did. The conversation clearly wasn’t going anywhere but south. And with him shouting - only inches from my face - to what he obviously felt were personal insults, I turned to leave before this escalated any further. Amazingly - The last, intelligible thing I heard him say to me before I shut the car door to leave was; “If you expect it fixed the way YOU want it, you need to take it somewhere else ” Sums things up perfectly! That says everything you need to know. BUYERS BEWARE!"
"Good people. My car was damaged by a deer so my insurance company had me take my car to Unlimited. They kept the car for four days which was the norm. When it was time to pick it up, my car looked like it just came off the assembly line. Great job."
"Thanks to Paul for saving the day on this Jeep build that we are doing for a customer in Kenya! It’s scheduled to go home in a few days and we just noticed a run in the clear coat from another body shop that did the paint work. Paul was able to wet sand and buff it out so that it looked like it should have when it left the other body shop. A solid 5-Star Review for 5-Star Service."
