"I think they lied to me. I plaid 15.99 for the vegetable curry that says it comes with two sides. Pictured here you see 2 sides. The description makes it sound like the curry is it's own meal, not a "sauce" on top of sides. But that's what the lady on the phone said. They describe the curry as having tomato, onions, etc. You don't see any of that here. I decided not to go on and argue and just leave a review. Chickpeas and potatoes were good, which is why I left 2 stars instead of 1. Spinach was too salty."
"This place is ok, but sadly to say, it is not authentic Jamaican food. Nor does it have a wow taste factor otherwise I wouldn’t really care if it’s authentic or not. I like fusions. The beef Pattie was delicious. The food is… pretty bland tasting. And the oxtail stew comes with a pretty watery stew base. The oxtails also weren’t tender & the peas in my rice and peas were firmer than needed. I won’t even speak on the steamed slightly seasoned cabbage. Overpriced “buffet” style layout where it’s easy to spend almost $30 or more on something you could get for wayyy less elsewhere. The place is clean and a good location. To me I’ll call it a watered down Americanized version of Jamaican food. It’s not bad but when you’re used to that taste and quality and love put into those foods…. it just doesn’t hit the same. #RepresentRight"
"First time here and the food is decent. Lots of choices and some authentic Caribbean dishes, all weight by pound for $12.99. Some were flavorful and some were a little bland but it’s being catered to a variety of cultures so that’s understandable. While it’s not the best West Indian restaurant around, it is certainly worth the friendly service and made to order Roti when requested. If I’m in the area again, I would check it out again."
