"Waitress was great, food was overcooked on the breakfast buffet the french toast sticks were hard. Then they added a extra 10 dollars to the tip that we didn't authorize. The lady at the counter wasnt very pleasant to begin with and the charges just posted and its 10 over what it should be so gave themselves a great tip."
"This place was really underwhelming. The buffet was overall mediocre, the selection was pretty low. The pie we were told was to die for was so riddled with rockhard seeds it was inedible without breaking a tooth. If that wasn't bad enough, their hours don't match Google's posted hours, so we were seated and charged $25 a person for the last 30 minutes of the buffet, without ever being informed that that was the case. Frankly, it feels like bad business practice to charge someone for the buffet and then not inform them that it's more or less gone, and won't be replenished. Two employees interacted with us and had the chance to inform us of this. The salad bar wasn't half bad, and the sweet tea was delicious. Not good enough for me to recommend the location, unfortunately. It's really a shame after all the good we had heard. Stop by if you like a bland buffet and a lack of ethics. Edit in response to business owner:: I'd like to also point out the owner/managements poor response to my criticisms. Their stance swapping from "we always try to let you know" to "you should've known" is frankly just a sad attempt to shift the blame onto us for getting up and going to enjoy what we thought was a full buffet before being informed 30 minutes later it would not be refilled. "You had the ability to view it beforehand" seems to ignore that we had no idea the business was closing. The comment about the pie that I left was one about the pie that I ate, sorry if that was confusing. We ordered a blackberry cobbler, and it was filled with very many inedible and very hard seeds. It was physically painful to eat. On your last comment about "Google bots" and my naïvety, you may want to invest some time and effort into learning about Google Business Profile, a feature that allows you to maintain your own hours. It's very widely accepted as a simple, reasonable way to maintain the information that appears when people Google your business, including your hours. I'd do a bit of investigating into it, unless you're fine accepting that there are plenty of people who will never return to your establishment after an experience like mine."
"Best place to eat after spending a day at the Luray Caverns. Food was served fast and tasted great! I absolutely had to grab a burger and chips to go with a fried egg in it! Prices were phenomenal and chips were handmade and delicious! Oh the keylime pie with super light and fluffy merengue was sublime! Terri was our wonderful server for our experience. She was courteous, professional, fast, and super considerate. I highly recommend this place!"
"Good food. This is a prototypical American-style restaurant--meant in a complimentary way. The burgers and fried shrimp were excellent. They also have a nice salad bar. We didn't partake, but the dinner buffet looked good, also. Recommended. I will stop again when in the area."
"Outstanding! After traveling for 6 hours and eating mostly fast food, we wanted a decent meal. The menu looked good online but the experience was awesome! I had the broiled fish and it was perfect!!! The beans were great and the applesauce tasted homemade. The waitress Rebecca was great. All the staff were friendly. Would give 7 stars if we could."
