"A rude assistant manager refused to answer my polite question and walked off. I repeated the question louder to attract his attention, and he told me to leave the store, then threatened to call the police when I asked why. I reported this to DG corporate, and I am waiting for an apology and confirmation that this man has been disciplined. PS I was later informed that this assistant manager didn't turn up for work the next day and was released from his position. In the several months since then I have shopped several times at this store without issues."

"I have been going to the valley ave. Location for approximately five years and spend an average of about $100.00 a week.. Today I picked up about $ 50.00 worth of Christmas decorations because bigger items were marked 50% off and at the register discovered the sale ended yesterday and forgot to take down the 1 foot sign and basically had me put them back instead of offering to mark them down for me...HOPE IT WAS WORTH LOSING THAT MUCH MONEY !!"

"Nice place but up in check out there was 4/5 in line with 1 cashier chatting with a customer and other cashier saying how tired she was. Fortunately a nice lady behind me yelled if 2nd line was open..thats when she opened up for us because the 1st cashier was still chatting. Terrible customer service. I thanked the customer who made the 2nd cashier open up for us."
