"I was interested in supporting a local business for a new built-in microwave. Not being a fan of afternoon traffic in West Ashley, where I live, I decided to ride my bike for my first time into their showroom. Apparently the salesmen decided that, because I rode a bicycle and wore a hooded sweatshirt on a breezy day, I couldn't afford appliances. I was snubbed by no fewer than 3 salesmen before I understood what was going on. If you want the kind of service detailed in other reviews, be sure dress to impress and drive your best car. As for me, I'm not interested in supporting that kind of establishment."

"Do not go to the big box stores for your appliances. Plugs is the best. Their customer service is extraordinary. We had some problems with our dryer due to the electrical system in our new home and they supported us at every step of the way to final resolution. My expectations were exceeded. She bent over backwards to make sure my experience of remodeling a kitchen was the best it could be when it came to appliances. She helped me determine a great plan at a great price. She helped me when we ran into snags that resulted in changes to my order. She helped me get the appliances right when I needed them. I highly recommend Plugs and especially Leigh Anne! "Plugs really came through for me. In particular Jack Ferguson. My refrigerator died… yes sadly just before the holidays. Needless to say I immediately reached out to several appliance stores and Jack by far out communicated his peers at the other stores. He immediately went on the search to find a suitable replacement for me ASAP. He answered my every email with informative details, pictures, pricing providing solutions to my situation. All of this from Jack while hearing nothing from the other stores here in Charleston. He got my business and will continue to be my “go to person” from now on (dishwasher is next). Oh and Jack is clearly a problem solver as he helped me with a temporary solution as I wait for delivery of the refrigerator I purchased from him (which may take a while).
