"Pro: The only sunshine at this place is Ray. Cons: This was my 2nd time going in I had the appointment at 1pm I arrived at 12.55 pm and my stylist got started with my hair at 2.45 pm. I was initially made to sit at the sitting area and given a response that my stylist is running a few minutes behind schedule (understandable if it had been few minutes), 30 mins later (1.29 pm) I was made to sit at the wash station again was communicated that just a couple of more minutes. Another 30 mins pass by then someone washed my hair (2 pm), next was made to sit at the haircut chair, 12 mins later my hair was dried (2.12pm), my stylist briefly spoke to me about my style then went back to work on someone's hair, then my hair was straightened 2.31pm (I never asked for this and I did not want this) I asked why was given "stylist" (Dee's) preference. 2.45pm my stylist came and cut my hair she took my hair length off with an electric razor and was done by 3.05pm. ...I was asked if I feel happy. Its been a week now, I still don't feel good about my experience.I did hesitate before writing this review (because of Ray he is genuinely a sweet and amazing person also he was NOT my stylist) But, I don't think I'll ever go back to this place. However, I wish them well and would kindly ask them to respect people's time because we all lead an extremely stressful life. Thank you, Maya"

"I've been going to Genesis Salon & Spa for about 7 years for my haircuts and hair color with Dee and It is always a pleasant experience. What you pay for you get in quality work that lasts. Dee is a professional stylist with years of experience that is honest with her clients and explains her process for whatever service is provided. I drive over an hour to see her because her work is amazing and It does not compare to anyone else I've worked with. The salon is always spotless and the service is top notch with attentive staff and a owner that cares about every detail in the place. I recommend everyone I know to go to Genesis because their work is amazing and they are able to accomplish any and all of your hair goals."

"The salon was recommended by my sis-in law. At first I was very skeptical because i have never done any light color on my hair only black or dark brown to cover my grays. have seen how bad hair gets after and the damage it can cause if a lighter tone wants to be achieved if not done correctly. Nonetheless I made the decision to make a change after all hair grows right? I have to say that I was not disappointed at all, Dayana was my hair stylist and she is very knowledgeable and friendly, everyone was. She answered all my questions and I loved the final product. Needless to say I will be going back and lighter in color."

"Wow Dee was an amazing hair Dresser very honest and profesional. I am attaching the picture of her work I took a before and after picture. And as you can tell the after came out absolutely fabulously. I highly recommend her to people that have no hope for their hair. Because believe me she knows. She also explain to me how to use product and how to treat my hair so my hair recovers completely."
