Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

"I did not like my massage it was rushed and half done. I was not given water afterwards but the technician had a cup of water. When you pay for a 60 minute massage your whole body supposed to be done including your thighs & legs that is what you pay for. You also supposed to be asked if it’s enough pressure. I informed the technician about my shoulder that was rushed over and my reason for even going to get a massage and all she did was brush my shoulder off and said ok your done. This is the third time I went to Hand and Stone and received a half A*# massage. I will not be returning to any more Hand and Stones it’s a waste of money. The quality of the massages & professionalism is gone they are not like how they use too. Customers are paying out good money and should not receive these poor quality massages. I could have stayed home and had my girlfriend massage me better and save my money. A license masseuse should not be giving out the same level of massages like a person who is not trained. The crazy thing is to ask for a tip for this type of service shows that money is what is the priority vs a quality massage."

"Worst place ever, I got 2 massages from 2 different people, each one was equally bad. I get massages all the time and this place had the worst massage and experience ever. Not once but twice. I came on a pass from a friend that has a membership. I see why she don’t go! The first time was with a guy, he seemed intimidated. He looked young so I thought he was new. The lady at the front desk said he wasn’t. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt and went back. I specifically asked for someone good when scheduling my appointment. My facial was great, but went down hill after that. Massage therapist came in smelling like Funyuns, the room wasn’t ready, they DO NOT warm their massage oil. It felt like she didn’t know what she was doing, real childish, fast movements, it wasn’t relaxing. She also didn’t do my covers right so I my private areas exposed, and she would tap my arms when she wanted me to move them. I truly felt worst leaving than when I came in. I was completely looking forward to this because it was the 1 year anniversary of my mom passing. I was hoping to relax but this was a horrible experience. If I could I would like my money back. I absolutely do not"

"I loooove the manager at the City Ave location. I love my esthetician as well. The front staff is always a pleasure. I appreciate the team. It means a lot to me. The team treats me respectfully, kindly, with honor. I typically loove my facials. Not so much my massages. I think I kist have to find a match. If you’re looking for a relaxing time. With many options, respectful staff. Come here. Not yo mention they have awesome options for skin care."
