"THIS PLACE IS NOT A JOKE!!! While visiting Providence, I ordered from here two nights in a row. FIrst night I got the fried shrimp basket: fresh shrimp, crispy shoestring fries. Super delicious! Next night ordered the fried chicken basket. Got it delivered and it was as hot as eating at the restaurant. The seasoning was perfect: a little spicy and super fresh. LOVE IT!!! Eat here don't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed"
"The service was super friendly. The music selection was great with early 2000s vibes. I wasn't expecting the food to be as great as it was . The captin loui seasoing was the perfect balance of spicy. Ms cutetini drink was lite and refreshing. Can’t wait to come back!"
"Way overpriced! We came here for lunch and ordered 2 lbs of snow crabs, 1 small lobster tail, half lbs mussels and half lbs of clams. Total bill came out $170….and for that price we thought the food was gonna be great…nope, snow crab tasted horrible and not fresh. I was literally angry while sitting there. Total rip off. To be fair the service was great! No wonder you guys had an empty restaurant on Saturday! I’m gonna reply to your comments here: snow crab tastes horrible, for that price you should get some high quality/fresh ones. The meat is supposed to come off mostly one or two pieces if they are fresh. Yours tasted like was in the freezer for 2 years and meat came off in shattered pieces. And are you suggesting we should not tip your waitress? We didn’t order anything else. Food plus tax was 141.48, and we tipped your waitress 20% so the total was $170."
"Wow completely blown away by this gem! Busy restaurant located on the famous Federal Hill area of Providence. Nice decor and always smiling staff. Food was delicious, big portions and very fresh. My daughter was impressed with their Shirley Temple drink in the plastic pouch, and we got a free funnel cake dessert from their local special offer. Prices are very competitive, great dining option for families. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely come back for more."
"My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Captain Loui in the Braintree location a year ago. Today at Captain Loui in Providence was even better. Enjoyed the lemonade in a bag. Not too sweet, but just right. The oysters were fresh juicy and succulent. Captain Loui sauce was perfect for the seafood boil. We give it a five stars."
