"We werent acknowledged when we were sitting in the booth. I had to ask the hostess who our waitress was. The woman, Penny never cleared our dirty dishes. My husband's chowder was warm. He didnt like the short ribs. I had a lobster roll with fries. Thankfully the fries were hot, and the lobster roll came in a hotdog bun. It was $28. Was it worth that price? NO. We arent from the area, and tried it on a whim. She never came over to ask how our food was. She seemed frazzled, maybe having an off day but who knows. The hostess seemed to work harder than she did. Helping out a lot. We definitely wouldn't return here. Its too bad because they have a good menu selection and its a Tavern vibe. The other waitress we saw seemed more friendly and on the ball. I did like the stuffed mushrooms though."
"Pretty incredible food! Just like at all the other restaurants the owner has owned. Customers can be brutal mean and unforgiving. Bravo to you for opening up and then surviving as a new business in a new location during covid! That speaks for itself! I personally worked with the owner for way too many years. I personally know the quality food and great talent and effort put into everything. What an outstanding Job he's done getting this up and running after it sat empty. Keep doing a great job, as always. The good people will always support and appreciate the quality you have brought to this town. As far as those couple of bad ones let them go, seem like professional complainers. Nothing better to do. What they should do is go try to open a restaurant! We would love to go give them a hard time lol. Keep up the great work!!!!"
"I loved this place. Great atmosphere and the food was good. I ordered chicken parm and there was so much food and the chicken was huge that I brought half home and had another meal out of it. The picture shows what I brought home after eating half of it. I would highly recommend this place and will be back."
"Why does it smell like bathroom in the entire restaurant? It's gross. The food was poor. The chicken Parm sub was embarrassing. We tried dipping the chicken in sauce and it was just bad. Been here a few times before with good food, but we won't be back again."
"Not a huge review kind of guy unless the place deserves high praise or is completely terrible. Let me tell you our experience here was B.A.D. This was our 2nd time dining here,both equally as bad. Dinning experience number 1..I ordered sea fra, when I noticed they forgot the mussels I informed the waitress and she seemed confused. She looked at the menu and said oh ok I'll bring those right out. The mussels they brought out were 100% microwaved no sauce no butter no nothing. Let's fast forward to experience 2. Sat down, server was sweet but didn't know what she had on tap for beer. Looking over the specials, seared ahi tuna caught my eye. When I placed my order she asked me how I would like it prepared? I answered ugh seared rare. After about 20 or so minutes after our parties food arrived. I took a bite of the bland plain rice and then cut into the "rare seared tuna" and wouldn't you know it was cooked all the way through. Super chewy, would have rather had a tan of bumble tuna or sushi from market basket. After 2 disappointing dining adventures I will not be returning."
