"Dr. Fitzhugh was, unequivocally, the most intelligent, capable, knowledgeable & non-pejorative medical provider that I have ever seen in my life. His is incredibly humble, despite his remarkable positions and experiences. All of his clients were extremely eager to meet with Dr. Fitzhugh. His wittiness,, sense of humor, advocacy, compassion and down to earth demeanor ALWAYS uplifted one's spirits. He was consistently calm & could readily handle handle the various issues that were presented to with much ease. Dr.Fitzhugh is very well regarded by the community at large, his cients, and his peers. It was my experience that his staff would ALWAYS find a way to fit you in to his beyond full schedule on the particular day you would call to speak with his reception ( Jessica - who was always very pleasant & -accommodating. If you could not possibly see the Good Doctor on the day you rang, she would confer with Dr. Fitzhugh to squeeze you in for the next day. He has, without fail, ALWAYS return my calls. Jess would re-iterated that he does make his return calls until he finished seeing clients for the day. Hence, his clients were provided with a specific " window of time " to expect his call. In summary, Dr. Fitzhugh is a consummate professional. His very professional office staff that he hires make that office run like a well oiled machine. Due to a most unfortunate action by a clinician ( VERY green at them at the time] who took it upon herself to call Dr. Fitzhugh's office to terminate my care at his practice with absolutely no verbal or written consent by me. Appalling, despicable behavior on her part with absolutely not even having the wherewithal to fill me on this most impulsive drastic measure to even bring this '" Sketchy McSketch" behavior up to me! I would have NEVER terminated my treatment with any doctor/ medical provider without doing this action myself ... And, now his caseload is full & he is not accepting any new patients ... Kudos to you Dr. Walter Fitzhugh for all of the valuable lessons that. you taught us all. My best to you always !"

"He is a good doctor. I never had any problem with him. He just seamed to hit a dead end on medications, since I've either been allergic in some way to the ones we tried, or they didn't work. He really couldn't figure out that I had anxiety."

"I tried many different doctors for many years during my late teens/early 20's, but once I found Dr Fitz, I was saved. Most down to earth, cheerful, helpful Dr I ever had. I've been his patient for over 20 years and have recommended him to several friends and family over the years. 20 years may seem like an excessive time to still be seeing him, but he keeps my meds in check and I've had my relapses now and then and he always sees me through them. Can't say enough about the staff either, Jess is amazing and always friendly and helpful. Liz is also a great manager and can't forget Brian who is always right on the ball. a couple of new hires recently, but I haven't interacted them much yet. I highly recommend him and his staff."

Dr Fitzhugh I really can't say enough about!! He is not only a great doctor he is great person in so many ways!!!! He actually cares about you it's not just words!! You leave his office feeling that someone really cared about you then and how you will BE!!!! Dr Fitzhugh has always been there for myself and my family when we were in such desperation not knowing what to do except cry he would be there for us and I will ALWAYS THANK GOD for him being the doctor that he is but most of all being the WONDERFUL EXTREMELY FUNNY COMPASSIONATE CARING PERSON THAT HE IS!!!!!!!"
