Dr. Lisa Swartz Topor

Dr. Lisa Swartz Topor is the fellowship program director of pediatric endocrinology at Rhode Island and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital, located at 111 Plain Street in Providence, Rhode Island. She is an associate professor of pediatrics and teaching scholar at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Topor is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology, with clinical interests in adrenal disease, thyroid disorders, and diabetes. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency and fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Topor also pursued additional training in clinical investigation at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Center at Lifespan offers comprehensive care for children with endocrine disorders and diabetes. Lifespan is Rhode Island's first health system, founded in 1994 by Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital. In addition to Rhode Island Hospital's pediatric division, Hasbro Children's Hospital, Lifespan's partners include Bradley Hospital, Newport Hospital, Gateway Healthcare, Lifespan Physician Group, and Coastal Medical. "Find a Doctor" is operated by Lifespan and includes all physicians on the medical staffs of Lifespan-affiliated hospitals, with selection based on individual needs and preferences. Users are free to choose their physician of choice from among all Lifespan-affiliated medical staff physicians.
