"Horrible customer service. This location never has anything in stock. What baffles me is that even though this company caters to *LICENSED* professionals/individuals who are in the beauty industry yet the company hires non licensed workers. Someone please explain to me as to why that is?! Makes utterly no sense. Please hire licensed workers since after all those very licensed individuals actually went through beauty schooling and have actual knowledge of the industry/products etc… I mean it just makes common sense, after all they went through the schooling and licensing exam and all. Also, if you’re working in this store, with this company or in the beauty industry in general, why not look the part?! Perhaps this is just me thinking this, it’s a beauty supply store after all. It’s nice when the workers actually have their hair and makeup nicely done. Most hairdressers actually take the time to look the part, or at least try to, us hairstylists are walking billboards when you think of it, marketing our selves, you know. Plus it definitely helps boosts sales. ;) ;) Just saying. Some of the workers come off a bit passive aggressive. Their demeanor just gives me this negative impression/vibe. I dread coming to this location but I don’t think there’s a local Salon Centric so not only am I kinda stuck with the limited options or products that this store has or doesn’t have in stock and on top of that, having to shop at this location. If the company can’t hire licensed people for whatever reason, at least hire those who are extremely passionate about the beauty industry and actually show it by looking the part."
"Staff is nice enough but the selection is actual garbage. They’re out of everything all the time, even just basic things a professional supply store should carry. Pathetic."
"From the beginning phone call, Krystal GM helped me with my order professionally and thoroughly. Such a pleasant woman. My curbside pickup was quick and I was very happy to see they wear their masks to bring the package outside and ask their customers to wait until they go back inside before taking the order. Very professional! Thank You"
"I walked into this store today just checking it out. I am a licensed massage therapist and thought maybe they sold massage oil. I inquired with a salesperson if I needed a card to shop here she said "you have to be a licensed hairstylist, Esthetician etc... and if your not I'm going to have to ask you to leave." "It's stick store policy." My mouth dropped open, I didn't even want to mention I was a LMT at this point, and I stormed out. I have never been so rudely treated!!! CosmoProf is not Professional At ALL. At least the one in Killing, CT. Find another store unless you don't mind being treated rudely. Oh btw one of my LMT friends just informed me I CAN get a card at CosmoProf in RI. Wow! What's up with that!"
"I walked into this place of business today along with my 10 year old son, was greeted by a younger lady with pink hair as soon as I walked in, and then was left alone. Now the reason why I give this place one star: I didn't know this place was not "open to the public". I saw the sign, thought it was a regular beauty supply store, so I walked in. I proceeded to walk around the store, looking at hair color samples and such. I walked around the ENTIRE store. When I got to the end of the aisle by the cashier, an older woman with short grey/silver hair asked me if I needed help. I answered, no, as I was just browsing. She then proceeded to ask with her nose turned up, "well you are a hairdresser, aren't you?" And again, I answered no. At that point, she said with quite a stuck up attitude, "well, we're not open to the public!" Well SORRY lady! I didn't know! Maybe your signage outside on the door should say something of the sort of, "NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, LICENSED HAIRSTYLISTS ONLY ALLOWED ENTRY". And not a small sign either, because people like me who don't know any better wouldn't know that the place of business is strictly for licensed stylists, and quite frankly aren't going to read a tiny sign. I hope none of my stylist friends do business with this store, as nobody should have to deal with such rudeness, especially in front of a 10 year old."
