From the time I was admitted to the time I was discharged, my every need was attended to promptly and efficiently. The staff were highly competent, always courteous, professional but also personable. "This is absolutely the worst cancer center I have ever dealt with. I only give one star because its required. My family was left without medication on multiple occasions. The treatment plans changed abruptly with no explaination. If the patient has family members approved to call and speak with the doctors concerning treatment, they will advise you that the doctor will only talk with one person. So that person would then have to be the contact point for everything, including prescription refills, leaving us unable to delegate specific tasks. My family member was left gasping for breath and in severe pain while waiting DAYS for a call back from the doctor to drain fluid from their lungs. They ended up having to go to an emergency room where they were admitted and informed their lung was 100% filled at that point. Once being admitted to the closest hospital, treatment has been like night and day! My family member now has pain under control, a permanent drainage port implanted and was started on chemotherapy within days of admittance, whereas it had been a month of care with Dr.Rathore. We were treated like a nuisance. We were left ill informed. Our paperwork was mishandled and only partially entered into the computer system, causing numerous issues. We were left to suffer without pain medication for a newly diagnosed stage 4 lung cancer patient. We were made to sit by the phone desperately waiting for a call back, for over 3 days while my family member's lung filled with fluids. That call never came. I recommend going elsewhere. I cannot warn you strongly enough! This is your life on the line."
