Reviews of Ninth Street Internal Medicine
"When it comes to health, it’s important to find a place where you are comfortable to discuss your personal concerns. Dr. Michelle Flynn is knowledgeable and professional with a soft touch of a sister or friend that you can talk to. She will make sure all your concerns are addressed and will check on you via email to ensure everything is resolved. Checking in was convenient, if you are on time, wait time is less than 5 minutes, staff are friendly. Checking out can be a tad confusing but if you look lost someone in the office will assist you to the right area."
"The doctors were good. However, when they created the poor and rich sides at the office then I knew I needed to go somewhere else aligned with my values. Also my doctor no longer wanted to treat me because I didn’t pay the $2,000 membership fee. The rich side has the doctors and the poor side has nurse practitioners. The rich side has its own reception area with spaced out seats. I wasn’t allowed past the entrance but I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a perfume spritz as well. I think society is moving backwards."
"My doctor left the practice along with a couple of other female doctors… I wonder why when I called to make an appointment with someone else I was forced to see a nurse practitioner a 26-year-old male named Ryan Gunderson, who reminded me of aKen doll I was unhappy with my visit I went in to discuss migraine medication I told him that what I had already been given was not working. I am a sober person so I have to be careful with what I take. He left me alone in the room for 45 minutes and came back to prescribe the exact same thing I already informed him did not work , when I complained the older female Staff who giggled like desperate school girls around him, decided that I was in the wrong and refused to schedule me with someone else. Overall, I feel used and abused after my experience with this horrible practice. Women should help one another not be so desperate for validation from a male that they step on one another"
"I wanted to leave a review for several reasons. I have a few different mystery health issues which has lead me to work with health coaches and naturopaths and things outside the norm. But I see Amanda Jankowski as my Primary Care and she is always kind, and open-minded and never makes me feel crazy or judged. I appreciate how she listens to me and is not dismissive one bit when I tell her something. I've seen TONS of different kinds of doctors over the years and Amanda is one of my favorites because she always makes me feel heard and comfortable. I also wanted to say it's always so easy to get a hold of someone, I'm never waiting long on the phone – the front desk people are kind and get my billing and questions taken care of."
"I'm a first time patient for Pek Ieong, and I had a wonderful visit for my annual physical! The check-in process at the front desk was easy and quick, and I was called back after just a few minutes. Both the nurse who checked me in and Ms. Ieong, the Nurse Practitioner with whom I had the appointment, were very patient and professional and made me feel heard. Ms. Ieong answered all of my questions in detail and really listened to my concerns (especially around anxiety with getting blood drawn). I really appreciate the care I received, thank you! :)"
