"Dr. Leibov is an excellent psychiatrist!"
"Worst experience with any doctor I've ever had. Misdiagnosed me and loaded me with perscriptions, all of which did nothing, and then took away the only percription I had that actually helped me. Took me a lot of time and money just to get back to as healthy and happy as I was BEFORE I saw him, which wasn't extremely healthy OR happy but it was far better than his care had me feeling. Terrible doctor, absolutely terrible. Should be retired but he's still milking gullible people for all they're worth - charging more than any psychiatrist in the area for no help whatsoever. Be prepared to wait a half hour to actually be seen, then another half hour for him to look through your charts (not an exaggeration, and he'll do it EVERY visit) and then he'll ramble on for 20 minutes about himself or past patients before he finally talks for about 5 minutes about your case and writes out 8 prescriptions which are all COMPLETELY USELESS. Don't bother telling him you think the meds aren't working because he'll recommend that you go for shock therapy or acupuncture that he does in office (and it hurts like hell, he has no idea what he's doing - do not let him do acupuncture - I had to get him to stop because my whole left side fell asleep and we had to wipe the blood off so it didn't get all over my clothes.) Also - for your sake, do not use this doctor for opioid dependence. If you want to use suboxone, definitely see someone else. He makes you wait until opiates don't show up on a urine test, which is 3 days, which is after 2 and a half days of the worst of the withdrawals. Every other doctor in the world will give you the prescription and tell you to wait 18 hours after your last opiate use, which is the instructions given by the suboxone manufacturer, and 18 hours is on the safe side. PLEASE use someone else if you want to get better - this doctor is only in it for the money and he's way too into himself. He has blown-up articles about himself that take up the entire wall in his dirty waiting room - from the 60's or earlier, which is the decade that he still thinks it is based on his treatment strategies. Do not allow him to send you for shock therapy, there is a reason it's unconventional - it doesn't work."
