"I saw this counselor during the pandemic for help with a breakup. She was not personable during the session and when I was forthcoming about the concerns I had about some of her therapeutic practices, she abruptly terminated me via email by telling me that she'd already booked someone else in my spot and was uninterested in working with me because of "poor fit." She did not provide me with referrals and when pressed refused to give me referrals and sent me to the Psychology Today home page. I was in a vulnerable place at the time and was unable to find another provider for almost 8 months. I reached out for help and felt like I was harmed in the process, I don't think this is an individual that should be working with vulnerable populations and it's deeply concerning to me that she is still practicing. I left reviews for her in the past, but she keeps disabling reviews online."
