"My experience with Dr. Schaffer has been wonderful and all the nurses have been kind. Someone at the receptionist desk (did not catch her name) needs more training in customer service care. It seemed to me that she believed she had the authority/ judgement on how I should best proceed. From now on I will immediately say I would like to speak to a nurse about my care if the doctor is unavailable. Two stars do not reflect the care of the medical team."

"I am putting one star, because of Melody at the front desk who is flat out rude. I called about a billing issue and was given the number and immediately hung up on. I called back, because I had another question and was met with a rude attitude that is not customer service. This is the second time I have dealt with this horrible front desk person named Melody. I was called three times in the same afternoon to make sure I was on time for my appointment. It just so happened it was the last one of the day, but it is so unprofessional of a doctors office to call a person three times in one afternoon about being on time for my appointment. I have had enough, so I will find a new office that I hope is better then this one at Main Line Health."

"I was just under 10 min late to an early morning appointment due to heavy traffic from an accident. By the time the receptionist took a few minutes to look up my appointment, she declared to me that my appointment had been cancelled because I had now exceeded the 10 min grace period by 1 minute! I politely refused and refused this ridiculous policy. All attempts to apologize, negotiate and plead nicely with the front staff was met with the same response. In fact, my provider was supposedly already seeing another patient before 10 minutes had passed. I asked to speak with the doctor or office manager the first chance they had. I was immediately informed that all other staff were already booked for the entire day. Just to get someone to talk to me, I had to declare, I would wait the entire day from 8am (then) until 5pm just to have an opportunity to lodge my complaint. Now in reality it took another 30 minutes of staring this Karen down from behind the counter. And I mean I stood there at the front desk, visible and single focused for that entire period, glaring as she tried to ignore me. I had to refuse to leave when asked. I had to refuse to sit down when requested. Just to get the staff to engage. Here's the kicker, the entire office and waiting room were completely EMPTY the entire encounter. Not a single other person came or went. Lazy, unprofessional and rude staff. I've noticed other reviews have had the same issue."

"Excellent staff, EXTREMELY nice and helpful, Dr Schaffer is excellent these people are professionals! They know what they are doing. Dr. Schaffer has always been patient with me and the communication between staff, dr.’s and myself is remarkable. Seriously, they are always on point. Medication is input correctly and quickly. They treat me like I’m one of their family. I can’t say enough good things about them. They also use the mychart app which is great for keeping track of everything."

"I had my first appointment with Dr. Lembeck earlier this week after living in the area for 18 months and putting off the search for a new PCP. I previously had a MLH PCP back when I lived in Downingtown/Exton and was not overly impressed, but came back because my mom is an employee and MLH allows you to make appointments online, including choosing a date and time. One of my biggest pet peeves with doctors' offices is getting through the phone line to make an appointment and juggle my calendar with the scheduler, so this was a huge advantage right off the bat. My experience with the front desk staff was very friendly and professional. This office is in a part of Conshy where parking is limited, but it offers free parking for patients when you check in with the front desk at the gate and let them know who you're there to see and your appointment time. The registration process was simple, and a medical assistant came to collect me right as I was finishing. Dr. Lembeck himself came across as very empathetic and made an effort to make eye contact with me, even while he had to enter all of the information into my chart. While I was there for a routine appointment and didn't have specific medical concerns, he was attentive and a good listener. He sent me off with routine lab orders (the lab was backed up due to flu season) and a referral for a dermatologist when I asked for one. I got my bloodwork done yesterday morning, and was pleasantly surprised to get a voicemail from Dr. Lembeck himself confirming that everything looked good, and the results were also instantaneously available in my patient portal for me to view for myself. Usually when the lab work is fine, I get a message from a medical assistant but the personal follow-up from Dr. Lembeck was a great personal touch. Although I was there for a wellness exam, the rapport I built with Dr. Lembeck in that short visit is important in the event that I do have health concerns in the future. I feel that I can trust him with my health and wellbeing and to make decisions in my best interest. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Lembeck and MLH Conshohocken to anyone in the area looking for a primary care provider."
