"If you are considering weight loss surgery, i highly recommend Coordinated Health. I have for years put this off due to other hospitals in the area didn't seem right to me when i would meet with the Dr's. The appointments usually left me with an uneasy feeling and wasn't settling. I had been with Coordinated Health for many years prior, and when my Rhumatologist told me about the new Bariatric program, i came home and made an appointment. I never looked back. From the first initial consult with the surgeon, i was at ease with everything. He really settled my mind with all my questions and fears and assured me he had total confidence that I could do this. I never had a doubt in my mind this is who was going to perform my surgery and follow me every step of the way. From then on the process was smooth. My patient navigator took care of all my appointments and was amazing at keeping on top of them and keeping me informed of any changed. The nutritionist i had really cares and took the time to make sure i understood everything in detail before leaving every appointment. If I had any questions after, i emailed her and was never left hanging on anything. Physical therapy was amazing as well, they took the time to address and work with you and if you have limitations they worked around that as well. I was never left in the dark about anything. The surgeon i had was amazing and i could not nor would ask for anyone better. He genuinely took interest in my health, goals and fears. He sat down to listen and address everything that i questioned. Even now that i am post-op, he is still motivating me at appointments and genuinely makes me feel that i CAN do this. The hospital stay as well is phenomenal. They treat you like family from the moment you arrive through the door. I felt at ease and was not scared on surgery day. I had a private room after surgery. I felt little to no pain and the nurses came by to check on you often and make sure you where comfortable. The surgeon also came in to sit and check on you and address any concerns or questions you may have and made sure you where comfortable as well the days you are there. If I ever had to do it again, and i pray i wont, i would go here again. If you are considering weight loss surgery of any means, don't over think it, don't hesitate, call they are 1 on 1 personal and family oriented and you wont regret a thing."

There you will hear from one of their highly trained bariatric surgeons of the types of surgeries offered and which surgery may be better suited for your specific weight loss needs. They also cover the insurance requirements for surgery as well as the health benefits and the health risks of each type of surgery. They talk about the special diet that's required before and after surgery as well as the potential problems you will experience if you don't follow their instructions. Plus they give ample time for you to ask them questions that you might have at any time during the session as well at the end of the presentation. After I attended the April 3rd Weight Loss Informational Session, I was convinced Coordinated Health is where I will be having my weight loss surgery performed. Two days later I met with my surgeon. We discussed my surgery options and I made my decision. From there my patient navigator, very efficiently scheduled my future doctor appointment's, ultra sounds, labs ect. This has been a very pleasant experience from the beginning. From the surgeons, physicians, physician's assistants, nutritionist, fitness coaches patient navigator and everyone else on staff, their priority is you. REMEMBER, there are many health networks out there that provide weight loss surgery but with them you will be just another one of their patients. "another brick in the wall".
