"We got buckwheat banana walnut cake and giant chocolate chip cookie. The buckwheat banana and walnut cake so absolutely delicious, I loved the texture, the flavors and the fact that it wasn’t overly sweet. The cookie was pretty good too. I’m hoping to visit this place again to try other items."
"Came in for a late lunch during the week. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we sat ourselves as directed. Staff was busy talking among themselves but a waiter did serve us after awhile. Main dish(quiche) brought out before I took two sips of my soup, so I had to decide which would get cold faster. No butter with bread and when I asked for some, he brought one pat of butter. No attention paid to us after that. Staff all busy talking among themselves. We had to call waiter over for check. We went to the counter to get some takeout and person behind counter didn't acknowledge my order until I asked whether she heard me. Also "busy" talking to a colleague. Really terrible attitudes toward your customers. The food is ok but doesn't make up for the haphazard treatment of customers. Won't return."
"I ordered a macciato with oatmilk and the mushroom & gruyère quiche. Absolutely delicious. I went mid morning on a weekday and was able to seat myself quickly. Service was great and the servers were great with recommendations. I cannot wait to go back again one day!"
"I got the Sunny Side Breakfast Bowl, fruit salad, and an iced mocha. For the food, the breakfast bowl has a tangy flavor. It tasted fresh, and the avocado was perfect ripe. I wish however, that it came with more eggs. It was a single egg, which I don't feel was enough for the base. Fruit salad was really good, cute mint topping. The meal came with bread I wasn't expecting, with room temperature butter. I appreciated the bread, it hit the spot :) The server was courteous. Gave me enough time to determine what I wanted to order. Was kind, and seemed like a good person. After ordering, minutes later my meal came out. It was super fast. This place is also friendly to single diners, I've never went out to a restaurant alone, and they had no problem finding me a seat, and had no judgement of me eating alone. Overall good spot for chilling at their outdoor seating, good people watching spot!"
"It is difficult for me to review this place. The atmosphere expressed through upholstery is great. Wooden chair, huge and bright windows, nicely presented pastry items in the cupboard, various types of gems and seasoning on the table, everything I can see levels up my expectation. But that’s where the good news ends. Servers are not very attentive to people. I have to raise my hands to a third time so that he can see me. There was a time he was walking right in front of my seat and missed my call; I ended up having to hint the other server that I would like to talk to him. For the food, they were fine but not impressive. Coffee is not served in a traditional cup but comes with a set of a jar and a cup. The set itself has aesthetic value but not pragmatic utility. The cup has no handle, which makes me have difficulty enjoying hot coffee. So I have to wait till it cools down a bit, but come on, who likes lukewarm coffee? For the skillet baked eggs, avocado, tomatoes, and feta cheese all add nice flavor into the dish, which is a plus. The only trouble is the bread, which tastes absolutely stale. Though looking fresh, bread is hard and dry. With this being said, it is not over toasted, since it is not toasted at all, but left to dry? Overall, the astonishing dining environment does allure me to anticipate a wonderful experience to come, the actual food and service creates substantial setbacks."
