"My experience was a huge disappointment. It's not my first time getting boots fitted, but I have never gotten such a poorly job done. I went to this gentleman to have 2 pairs of boots (Not yet worn) fitted for me. When I called to pick them up, I was told they would be done in 30 min (first pick up date was already postponed by them which did not bother me really). I would actually rather have them take a month to get them done properly instead of rushing and messing up my boots. I am assuming they were rushing because no one experienced would do such a mediocre job. One of the 2 pairs was ok, but the one I care the most about, I completely lost it because the back of the boots looks like a chopped job, not sure how to describe it. What's even more frustrating, when I was telling him what was wrong, he started to raise his voice saying, "I always told people it's not going to be perfect..." and of course no one asked for perfection because anything altered would not look the same; you can still get something done well without the product being perfect. I would have just preferred to see someone taking responsibility for a poorly done job than to be defensive and raising their voice at the customer. I am very hurt; and I hope he remembers how he did me wrong. And those tiny little black dots, I am not even sure what they are; the boots were intact when I gave them to him, and I told him what guarantee do I have that they will not be damaged because I have not worn them, he literally said, "100%". Very disappointing."

"My visit to this shop was the bright spot in my day! I called ahead and they said they might be able to get my sandals repaired in time for me to wear them in a play at the end of the week. When they saw what was needed, and how far I'd driven, they offered to do the work while I waited! Accommodating, helpful and friendly, I wholeheartedly recommend this family-owned and operated business!"

"Okay... On the pricey side... 6 pairs of shoes to get the heel caps repair... $90 and blackjack, caps, even for the shoes that had beige caps. They repaired with black caps... Another thing, call before you go. The shop hours stated the open at 10a, but I waited until 10:30 a.m., and it was still closed 2 times. I called and left several messages, but nobody responded. So, call around 11a."

"Broke the zipper on my riding leather. Tried my usually spot to get it fixed. But their equipment couldn't handle the thickness. She told me to find a shoe repair shop. Picked New Father's and Sons. Zero regrets. Friendly. Courteous. VERY well priced. Dropped off at closing one evening, few days later all done! Better than the original zipper too!"
