"Very slow and extremely rude! Despite having an appointment via apple they wanted to take my phone until a part arrived (they couldn’t order it without holding my phone they said). So I go without a phone and you have access to all my stuff I don’t think so what a joke. Apple replaced my phone instead of dealing with this joke of a place. Management was just as rude too."
"I set up an appointment over a week in advance. I explained exactly what I needed done. I had some storage issues and have no idea how to work my phone. I have an iPhone XR. I just simply don’t know how to do updates/manage storage and the phone had been lagging. I explained this to the girl on the phone and she said no problem I’ll get you scheduled we can fix that for you. The day before the appointment I had a man call me from there and say that unfortunately they don’t perform that type of service. I asked what he meant and he stated that the only thing geek squad does is fix broken phones and that if my phone was not broken they would not be able to help me. I explained that I was told they could help me with what I needed by the woman who booked my appointment. He said unfortunately you are mistaken and if you need help with troubleshooting you should go to the Apple store. I let him know that that had purchased my phone from that Best Buy directly and would never deal with Apple directly and would never step foot in an Apple store as I do not feel comfortable which is why I bought my iPhone from that Best Buy. He again said that they likely won’t be able to help me but if I wish to keep my appointment I could. I let him know that I still wished to keep my appointment to simply see what the tech was able to show me when I got there. Day of my appointment comes around. I found someone who I mentioned all this to who is great at repairing cell phones, they agreed to help me out for free, as it was a ridiculously easy thing I was asking. Simply needed to know how to manage my storage. Took care of it in minutes and showed me how. So I skipped my appointment as the man on the phone made me feel like an extreme burden and was very clear that they wouldn’t bother helping me. As my appointment time came and went, no one even bothered reach out or send an email or anything to let me know that I had an appointment approaching/was expected to be there. Long story short, geek squad Warwick was the most unhelpful group of people ever. Someone was wrong and I don’t know who or where it went wrong. Either geek squad is nothing but a broken cell phone repair place and the woman should have never scheduled me for what I needed done in the first place. Or the man calling me to tell me that they couldn’t show me how storage and updates work and that they could only help me if I had a broken cell phone was mistaken. Either way, I will NEVER recommend geek squad Warwick to anyone. As I can see before writing this review that they have 2/5 stars. I wish I had noticed that before hand. If you have a broken cell phone, the kiosk in the Warwick mall is awesome and much cheaper. Whether you got your phone with them or not, they will not try to send you to the Apple store so that they don’t have to help you."
"Went to buy ear pods for my Samsung. I wanted black. I ask a salesperson for help. We went to the are for the pods. I requested black, she looked at the box in the cases and said this "SHOULD BE BLACK". She even checked on her phone to make sure. I planned on buying 2. I got to the register and ask the gentleman as he opened the case to remove the pods if in fact there were black he said no. At that point he contacted the wearhouse had 2 black ear pods brought to him. Thanks to that young man for going the extra mile."
"I had an appointment with Justin George on Fri 9/20/19 at 7pm. Not only was he not there for our appointment at 7, but he checked out of the store at 6pm. He said he was extremely busy and he could see me at 7pm. When I got there after having major surgery I was so angry! Lucky my husband was with me to control my anger. How and why did this happen. We ended up having to go all the way to Providence Place Mall to the Apple store there, where they ended up giving us a new phone. We will never ever walk into another best buy again!!!!!!!! "Make your appointment early and before actually going there, call ahead to find out how long the repair will take. I was having an iPhone battery replaced using the Apple special $29 program. The first appointment I made was at 5:00pm on a Friday and it would have taken 2 hours (had I stayed), but the second appointment on the following Sunday at 3:00pm had the battery replaced in a half hour, which was much better for me. The second experience was much better than the first."
