"My husband stepped on a blade for a blender and has to go by ambulance to the hospital. He sat in the waiting room for over 5 hours with gauze wrapped around his foot and bleeding. He ended leaving and treating his wound at home. Bad service, rude staff. Update: Husband spent 2 hours, maybe less at lifespan urgent care. No stitches were used because it had been more than 24 hours and was soggy, Dr glued it for him. Next time no ER, wait until 8 for urgent care."
"I have tried this emergency facility time after time again. Though I see some very hardworking staff members, others appear to be socializing. This ER needs some new management. I do not recommend this facility at all. It is sad to see some of these patients suffer as long as they do before finally getting seen. I am not going to be giving this facility any more chances again and risking my life just by sitting and waiting in a waiting room."
"If you type in any hospitals name into google you will find that they all get fewer than 3 stars. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. Every hospital gets the same complaints. Healthcare is not perfect, outcomes differ as do experiences. Hospitals are not restaurants. Nurses are not waiters and doctors are not chefs."
"In 1999 I was 19. I came to Rhode Island Hospital for them to remove my gallbladder. I expected them to save my life. Today I have Liver Failure and Kidney Disease because my doctor/surgeon knew he messed up and didn’t correct his mistake. I sit here in a waiting room in excruciating pain. I called to check the status and was told there’d be a 12 hour wait and I can always go to another hospital! Eric the manager came out. I advised him of why I was here…and that my legs are swollen and my entire right side is numb. He said ok. I came here for them to save my life and they took it. I have 2 years to live due to liver failure and now my kidneys are failing. Thank you for making me comfortable in my time of need… not."
