"Dave from Thumbs Up just came by to check out a potential leak that showed up this morning in the basement recessed ceiling. I called 3 other references for plumbers but all were busy a week out. Called Thumbs Up about noon and they had a tech there by 1. He came and helped explore for a potential source of the issue. We couldn’t find anything conclusive because it was something that seemed to have built up over time, but he gave me advise on what to monitor for and do next. Did not charge for the visit. At a time when plumbers are highly in demand it meant a lot that they were so responsive. I will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs."

"Thumbs down plumbing. Tried getting in a technician in after hours for a leak in our water heater. Originally called at 6pm and was told someone would be out between 7-8. A tech called at 8 to ask if I really needed service. We got disconnected and I didn't have a call back number for him. Called back the main number and was told they'd get him in touch with me. When I hadn't heard anything by 9:20 I called again and was told that they had changed my service time to between 7-9, but since I haven't heard from my tech, they would pass on a message to get him in touch. When no one had contacted us by 10pm, I called back the main number to cancel the service. The last time they didn't bother asking for my name. We'll deal with switching out towels through the night until we can call another, responsive service tomorrow."
