"The staff on the ambulance were wonderful and competent. My issue was with the business end of this service. I have an HSA; when I get a bill, I pay it. I was billed (and paid) over 7 times what BCBS allowed. This zeroed out our HSA. They were required to return the over-payment. This took me many phone calls and months of my time. On multiple occasions, I was told by their billing service that they would get back to me. Not once did they call me when they said they would. After months of delays, I served the ambulance service notice of my intention to bring legal action. I got the check 2 days later. I have to wonder how long it would have taken for my overpayment to be returned (if ever) if I were not actively pursuing them. The billing service and the chief showed little, if any, concern for the fact that I was unable to pay legitimate medical bills during the time I was trying to get reimbursed. I do not recommend this business."
