"Brought my wife in for severe influenza and chest pains. I told the nurse when we arrived and they acted like no big deal set her in the registration while grasping her chest. I had to raise my voice with staff to get attention finally they took her vitals and did chest x ray. Then sent both of us to waiting room knowing how bad we both sounded. Then some little old lady sat for 3 hours getting skipped over. Turnd out she had a serious problem. Go to Butler don't waste your time here."

"The lack of professionalism is astounding. My mother was brought in for 12 hours with a GI bleed that wasn’t diagnosed until she was transferred out due to lack of staff. The ER doctor asked her twice if she was an alcoholic (as if once wasn’t enough). And the ER nurse was very flip about her memory loss. If you have to preface your comment with “no offense”, you probably shouldn’t say it. Everyone here could use some people training and a lesson in patient confidentiality. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy here."

"Er nurses were very unprofessional. They talk about patients loudly from the nurses station, with the door open where patients can hear. They treated some patients very rudely. One man was asking for help to go to the bathroom, and I watched the nurses stand in the station ignoring him on purpose. They then talked about him n laughed at him. They do not listen to their patients. Worst care I have ever received I will not be back even though this is the closest hospital to me. I will drive further for decent care."

"Sat in the ER for four (4) hours in terrible pain and finally left. No nurse, no pain killers, no contact, no one cared!!! Could have driven to Pittsburgh Hospital gotten treated and drove home and got in bed in that amount of time. Terrible Management! Been there a couple times and they ran out of basic medical items in several of the rooms. Pittsburgh doctors hate going there so to the lack of everything needed and chaos - very disappointing! Patient confidently is almost nonexistent. The staff is also stretched thin and it shows in their attitude."
