"I had an injury and the MRI showed two tears before the surgery . He fixed one, he said he didn’t know about the other tear. However, the MRI report said there were two tears originally. He did not mention the second tear on the operative report. I felt pushed to do the surgery. His appointment time is very short, and I felt that I was being yelled at when I showed him the first MRI."

"Dr Buseck did my ACL reconstruction 5 years ago and I've been very happy with the results. I did get a second opinion before surgery but was satisfied with his treatment plan. I was off from work longer than expected due to swelling that wouldn't go down, but everyone's body is different. His bedside manner is good and he takes the time to answer your questions thoroughly. If you don't have questions, he's in and out quickly but if you do, he definitely takes the time to answer them and discuss your concerns. I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel as good as new and regained my full range of motion. 2 years later he treated me for a broken ankle and a year after that treated my son's broken foot. I highly recommend him."

"He was the worst Doctor I have ever been with in my whole life, I injured my shoulder playing football in October of 2015. He was my team Doctor at the time so everything went through him and trusted his judgement. After I visited him I described my injury and how I felt tremendous pain at the point of contact, he was nonchalant about everything and believed it was an AC joint injury. He didn't want to get an MRI right away and wanted to try other things first, and months of ice, rehab, etc I was still obviously in pain and months later he FINALLY ordered an MRI, he did not order an arthorgram MRI (which he should have!) but a standard one. Later on he decided to give me a cortisone shot, a week later for the check up he asked me I think we should try to give you a cortisone shot. (He just gave me one last week and forgot he did?? RED FLAG) I understand you have a lot of patients but this is something you need to keep track of. After all the treatment wasn't working he decided it was best to perform an open distal clavicle resection surgery 8 months after my injury happened. This was the worst idea and made my life worse than ever before. First of all why he didn't perform an arthroscopic one instead of an open one is beyond me. Besides that after the surgery the pain I had before still was there and even worse! Months go by after the surgery and I go back for a followup and I tell him I still have major pain in my shoulder.. his response was "you need to just toughen up". I was never so appalled in my life to hear something like that. After hearing that I went to the Cleveland Clinic and met up with some other doctors, within minutes of being with the doctors they performed a few test stretches to see what it could be, they performed an O'Brien's test and within minutes he believed it was a SLAP Tear (which Buseck STRONGLY BELIEVED IT WASN'T) within two weeks we went to get an MRI and not just a standard MRI but an arthogram which reveals everything with colored dye. We get the results back and they revealed a SLAP Tear. Dr. Buseck falsely diagnosed me and gave me a surgery I didn't need and created more problems in my shoulder I never had before. PLEASE AVOID THIS DOCTOR at all costs and don't make the same mistake I did."
