"Was visiting from out of town with some other friends from the LGBTQ community. Just wanted to say how disappointing I was to have your DJ disrespecting and blatantly bullying people I was with that are Philly locals as if the looks of the laughs that we were getting there already we’re not enough. the DJ felt the need to vocalize on the microphone “Los Maricones no necesitan disfraz, Solamente necesitan venir como son!” (Gays don’t need to dress up; they can come as they are!” Basically insinuating that we are a Halloween Costume already. I can honestly say I was expecting a little bit more from the city of brotherly love. Hispanics and other people of color have a hard enough already without us making fun and putting down our own."
