"Small place with limited seating. The hot pot was AMAZING and they had yummy bubble tea!!! They also had a side bar where you put together your own dipping sauce. We weren't sure how much food we would get with the hot pot but it was a great amount! We were both perfectly full with happy bellies! We will definitely be returning! The bathroom, however, left something to be desired. It felt like a dirty gas station bathroom with tree air fresheners hung all over... Total 180. Thus the 4 star rating."
"Was here a year ago, and my daughters loved it, so for one daughter 14 birthday (a year later) went back for the soup (exactly 1 hour drive to get there). Odd atmosphere experience this time. However food was good, even if reason we went back was for the wonton soup, which they didn't have... I personally really enjoy their soup."
"Had a really great bubble tea and a not so great Laziji chicken dish. I love spicy food, but these peppers were not spicy at all -just salty. I realize that you aren't supposed to eat these but jeez they were terrible. I had some awesome spicy Sichuan in the past that kept me coming back, but these peppers are the second time I have had a bad experience in Shadyside so I have to wonder what the heck is going on. Why do these peppers not taste like peppers?! All I have is a bleach-burn aftertaste. This place is pretty great for shabu shabu, but I have to recommend against any dishes containing such salty, heatless peppers."
"Wonderful place to have a dinner on Chinese New Year!"
"Their rice dishes are actually pretty good, and I think even better than Rose Tea. First they definitely win in terms of quantity--the amount of meat served is pretty insane. Second they are delicious (probably also a bit greasy but so good!), and come with a generous serving of pickled vegetables. If you are hungry, one of these meals will definitely fill you up."
