Reviews of Oak Hill Post
"First time coming here and wow this is probably one of the best brunch spots in Pittsburgh. Service was excellent. Everyone was beyond helpful and accommodating. Crème Brûlée French toast was the best French toast I’ve ever had by far. Fried chicken sandwich and classic breakfast sandwich were delicious. Such good quality. ALSO best biscuits I’ve had in Pittsburgh. 10/10 experience. Will definitely be one of our go-to brunch spots in the future!!"
"Great place!!! The service is quick and efficient. Everyone who’s working there greets you with a warm welcome. The french press coffee was 10/10. The classic breakfast sandwich was great too! Highly recommend this place. Great job to the owners!"
"Great breakfast place! Super friendly staff - welcoming and helpful. Menu changes fairly often but is always consistently delicious. Biscuits with lemon curd are a favorite. Biscuits and gravy are some of the best I’ve had - sausage gravy is super savory and satisfying without feeling gloopy or trashy. Breakfast burrito has a biscuit in it which is a bit weird and the flavors aren’t trying to be “authentic” (Mexican/latin) so that aside is very tasty. Restaurant is family friendly and chill. Coffee program is thoughtful and showcases great beans. There’s not a huge number of tables but they manage well."
"Surprisingly great food in the heart of Brookline! I went there because several of my clients were saying how great their breakfast was & they were right! I got takeout & the employees & owner were so nice & thankful for my business. I got the fresh squeezed OJ, and the classic breakfast sandwich which was to die for! I highly suggest getting it on their homemade buttermilk biscuits which are the best I’ve ever had- wow! I can’t wait to go back again to try out some other dishes! The place is very small inside & always crowded, so make sure you check out this hidden gem. The food & service is excellent!"
"If there were 6 stars, I'd give it one more! My goodness, oh my goodness, this is an astonishing place. We came in town for an event Saturday night and went here after church. It is fairly small but like dynamite, it packs a punch! They have breakfast and brunch and nearly everything is made from scratch. The biscuits were amazing with a slight sweetness. The sausage had a slight rosemary touch and I found out they make it there and grind their own. The real surprise and innovation was the "mashed browns". These were to die for! You must, and I mean must try them! They are little fried balls of hash browns, mashed potatoes, scallions, a little cheese, and egg. Wow these are good, and I got a little of their secret sauce to dip them in. We both had the classic breakfast sandwich, but I had sausage and avocado added to mine. It was epic! The coffee's locally roasted and they have a few brews along with nitro cold brew. They also have fresh kombucha on tap! The staff is crazy friendly and the service was excellent. I write a lot of reviews, but this one may top my list. I wish we had one of these near our house. Try it, you'll like it!"
