Upon arriving at RockBottom Morris Patio & Beer Garden, I was enchanted by the artistic charm of the venue. The vibrant and inviting atmosphere seamlessly blended rustic elements with a contemporary flair. The patio and beer garden provided an idyllic setting, basking in the embrace of nature, creating an ambiance that was simultaneously soothing and invigorating. But it was the fish and chips that stole the spotlight, a culinary creation that ignited the senses and transcended mere sustenance. The ethereal, flaky fish, encased in a delicate, golden batter, spoke of the culinary craftsmanship evident in every aspect of this dish. Each bite transported me to a realm of sublime flavors, evoking a symphony of sensations on my taste buds. The fish itself, tender and moist, was a testament to the freshest ingredients and expert preparation. Its delicate texture effortlessly yielded to the gentlest touch, unveiling a succulent interior that delighted the senses. The batter, a sublime fusion of crispy exterior and lightness within, added a layer of sheer perfection to the ensemble. The accompanying chips, hand-cut with precision, were a revelation in themselves. These golden-brown treasures, exquisitely seasoned, offered a harmonious contrast to the fish's succulence. With each bite, their ethereal crunch echoed the symphony of flavors, enhancing the experience with a textural interplay that elevated the dish to unparalleled heights. "Wanted to check out this new place being advertised on some of the local Morristown Instagram accounts I follow. A group of 4 of us went to lunch. The patio is nice, large and the tables were spread apart. I did appreciate the utensils were all individually wrapped in plastic and the ketchup and other condiments were also individual packets. It was virtually empty at 12:30pm on a weekday but we didn't expect it to be very busy. This being said, the service was noticeably slow. The drinks & food both took quite a while to come and our waitress never checked back at our table after the food was brought out. She was very inappropriately dressed as well. She was wearing jean shorts that were way to short - let's just say you can see things you shouldn't while eating. I would definitely not bring my family here due to that. I am rating the food good - not outstanding, not bad. The portions weren't that large. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a sangria. I didn't like the sangria. The only fruit was an apple and the slices were cut huge. It didn't have that summer flavors I look for in a white sangria. I would potentially give this place another try and it is new (and opened in the midst of a pandemic) but i'm not overall impressed."
"I was there yesterday for the WDHA event....the food is TREMENDOUS!...service is great too....one thing I would suggest to the manager/owner is a better sign to point out where it is.....there is no sign on John St. , I drove right by it and had to turn around."
"The mixed drinks were horrible. Next time we'll stick with beer. The nachos were soggy. No crisp at all. The french fries were really good and fish tacos weren't too bad."
"Another girl's night and one of the girls picked this spot. When I arrived there was two layers of the parking lot and the top was full so I parked down bottom. The place is connected to a gentleman's club which was a little shock to me. Thank God there were no dancers lol. I told the man at the entry we had reservations and he sat us. We were served by a lady, I didn't catch her name, and she wasn't very attentive. She dissappeared quite a few times. I ordered the personal pizza with no cheese and a bellini in a can. The bellini was tasty but the pizza was cold and they didn't put much effort into making it. They did have happy hour which the waitress forgot to mention because she didn't realize it was still a weekday β. I also got a mixed drink for $4 but it wasn't the greatest. The bill came to about $27. The reason why I give this place 3 stars and not less is because of the atmosphere and the DJ was pretty decent."
