"Venturing into the heart of a rough neighborhood, my friends and I discovered the delightful Pollo Castellano. The food, while not reaching life-changing heights, was a tasty experience. What truly set this place apart was the incredible warmth and authenticity. The Hispanic staff, especially the sweet woman at the counter, made us feel like cherished guests. The use of Spanish language, both in communication and on product labels, added a genuine touch. Despite the neighborhood's challenges, Pollo Castellano stands as a beacon of flavorful cuisine and heartwarming hospitality. A unique dining gem worth exploring in the midst of an unexpected setting."
"Knowing someone that had worked here, this place does not have their own recipes having each employee prepare food their own way which means one day you could get something that tastes great then the next it’s completely different. As well as that, the treatment of the employees is bad. I may be biased but I encourage going to other restaurants."
"You know I stopped here at 12am and grabbed a beef patty and it was great!!!"
"Terrible service. Only customer in the store, after ordering, worker goes to back for 10 mins just to come back front and grab the chicken from up front. Takes the box back to fries? (For what?) And spent an extra 3 minutes just talking. Maybe if I was Hispanic I'd get better service"
"It was ok. I got the guisado de res and they didnt put it in a sealed container so alot of the sauce spilled in the bag, and within all the sauce i only got 2 pieces of meat. Tortillas were fresh and hot but had no flavor . Rice was alright but very dry and bland. Nothing special here."
