"This is such a nice cozy restaurant. As soon as you walk in the staff are very friendly. We had the pleasure of having Jack be our server that night. The restaurant was packed but he made sure we had everything we needed."

"Went a few months ago so I'm a little late, but the place was phenomenal. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad, and it was fantastic. The pineapple sunrise was perfect, and my server, Jack, recommended the Lava Cookie for dessert and it was great! Jack was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of without being overbearing. It's very hard to come by a server who actually seems to care about his job nowadays."

"It was simply okay. The food was fresh and enjoyable but I was not pleased with the overall visit. They were out of a lot of items that we wanted to try so that really sucked. I think I enjoyed my time spent here because of the group of females I was with."

"Very good overall. I had a three-course meal as part of a special University City restaurant week. The appetizer was skewered chicken, beef tacos for the main course, and a sundae for dessert. Nothing stood out too much, and it was devoid of vegetables, but all fresh and tasty overall. Good service and atmosphere too. There was just one big problem which I hesitate to mention because it wasn’t the Landmark’s fault. One of my fellow patrons brought a holstered pistol in with him and the staff didn’t bat an eye. The patron wasn’t breaking the law, and in fact it’s debatable how legally binding a restaurant policy against firearms would be. It might have been legitimately for self-defense, and you wouldn’t think University City spots would turn into gang hangouts— but I’ve seen things. The guy sat somewhere in back of me the whole time and all I could think about was the Sopranos ending. Really more of a Philly thing than a Landmark thing, I’m sure."
