There aren’t many clubs that have Sensei’s like Mayo Quanchi. They teach their students not only the art of judo and wrestling, but also the art of respect, discipline, kindness, and love. I’ve never been to another club that has put so much time and effort into their students. They act as mentors both on and off the Mat. Sensei Serge will host many training camps at his club, where elite athletes come from all over the world to train and teach. Some of the judokas at his club are currently training for the Olympics. "When we left North Carolina I was worried about finding a good wrestling club, I called around the state and every coach said go to Mayo Quanchi, they go year round , so I had my son show up for his first week of training , and I could see right away this was the place for him, 5 and a half years later we’re still part of the MQ family , reason I call it a family is because no matter what MQ is there for you and your kids , Sensei Serge and his wife , day in and day out help everyone they can , ive never been part of an amazing club like MQ .
