"Signed my 6 month lab/mali up 12/20/2022, will keep updating our experiences 12/11/2023... my dog Bear, has been going 1 year now. Daycare daily. Nails clipped, and grooming. I have never had a problem. Me and Bear are very happy with their services and very nice people to do business with."
"I had my puppy Rex trained and groomed here. It was well spent time and money the staff are great people to deal with and there grooming is top notch .."
"If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I had my dog Spike boarded there last week from Tuesday-Friday. I warned them he has anxiety issues before hand and they seemed ok with being able to care for him. I drop him off Tuesday evening and headed to my vacation. Not one word from them Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. I show up Friday evening to pick Spike up, get him home and notice his nose is all bloody and scabbed over. His front paws were also swollen and sore. I called them ASAP and the lady working there informed me that he was trying to open the gate to his kennel with his nose. Then all she said was I’m sorry I forgot to mention it to you. One would think they would have called saying your dog is not doing well is there someone who could possibly watch him instead because he is causing harm to himself. Nope not one single word from them besides oh I’m sorry I forgot to mention it to you. DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE!!!!"
"I have been bringing my dog Ellie to Northeast K-9 since she was 3 months old. She has always loved her time at the daycare. We stayed faithful in bringing her each week, having boarding services done, and even did dog training at this facility and received little to no difference in her being trained. We have spent an incredible amount of money at this business because our dog absolutely loved it! The last few months we have noticed changes. The business has a large turnover rate for employees. There were situations I questioned in my head but thought this is a tough time for all businesses. I didn’t pursue my gut feeling. I should have and that should’ve started the moment I heard a staff member aggressively yell at a dog. Should’ve been 3 weeks ago when our dog was bit in the ear by another dog. We had to go to the emergency vet to have stitches done at 10:30pm. And an almost $400 bill. I called the to figure out what happened the next morning and nobody knew. The owner never offered to cover the bill. I continued to bring my dog after that she seemed happy. Tuesday 6/8/2021 was the last straw I dropped off my happy energetic dog to this daycare and picked up a visibly terrified and in pain dog later that afternoon. She was yelping in pain as I put her in my vehicle. She didn’t want to leave my vehicle when we got home. She spent the evening laying in her crate with the door open and avoiding contact with us. She is never like that! Anyone that knows a beagle knows that they are full of energy and love especially this one. Wednesday morning she was the same way not herself and in discomfort. I brought her into the Vet on Wednesday. The staff at our veterinary office noticed a huge change in her. She wouldn’t leave the car as if she was in fear of going back to that place. We finally got her out and into the office. She was cleared of any medical issues such as Lyme, or evidence of a dog fight and broken bones. They noted her discomfort and prescribed her pain killers. They also noted that we have a very scared dog and something happened to her and if this was their dog they would not return them to this facility and to demand an explanation. That’s exactly what I am going to do. How can a happy dog turn into a scared and terrified dog with pain in a matter of hours? A dog that has been hurt and traumatized. Her back leg and underside is sore as if she had been kicked a couple times. I am sure I will hear from the owner there is nothing on the cameras as I did for her ear bite. I do know that something awful happened to my dog within those walls and I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure another dog does not have this happen to them. We are currently working with Ellie and gaining her confidence with us her favorite humans, we are showering her with the love of her family. She’s slowly starting to show signs of our Ellie girl but this will take time. She’s been hurt by someone, someway and somehow and I will be working very hard to make sure to this doesn’t happen again. I would like to add to this review. The owner didn’t reach out to me when the initial incident happened and after I reached out to him on 6/9/21. They responded over a week later. After this review was shared publicly via FB. That’s when I got a response. This is my response to his response. Since I cannot respond to his directly. Your attempt to make me look like a neglectful dog owner is pathetic and full inaccuracies. The most neglectful thing I did was not listen to my intuition. Your response to my review like many others on this page shows clear disregard for humans and I can’t imagine the disregard you have for animals. I am in no means a liar and would not put this out there if it didn’t happen."
"First interaction with this place. Had to find a boarding place for my pup Libby last minute. Super nice on the phone, prices reasonable and the guy who checked us in went over everything. Picked her up today and she smells like a clean baby powdered puppy, she’s super calm and was sad to leave. She must’ve had fun with the other dogs, will definitely look into their training and doggy daycare next."
