About the Business
The Transition Center, located at 2 Lower College Road in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, is dedicated to studying the science of human development and family relationships. The Transition Center provides hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, older adults, and families through on-site clinics such as the URI Child Development Centers and the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic. The HDF major is also a great complement to other disciplines at URI, offering students a well-rounded education in human development and family science.
