"Great spot for young adults between 21 and 32. My husband and I had dinner in the area and just stopped in for a drink and to watch the end of the Sixers game. Prices for drinks were reasonable. The crowd was really enjoying themselves, singing along to music playing, dancing and playing skeeball ( I SO wanted to play skeeball!!) The only negative I want to mention is the ladies' room; it was disgusting. Other than that, the Garage seemed like a good place to meet new friends, watch sports, and play so fun games!"
"Tried to go here to celebrate my friend and my 22nd birthday (we’re 5 days apart) and the bouncer at the door let my friend in but then asked me for a second form of id and kept comparing mine to my friends. After I gave her my school id she turned me away and said “it’s not happening tonight”. What? I asked her why and she refused to explain. I pulled up my Instagram and showed her my 22nd birthday post and even my high school graduation post from 2020. Her response was “I have an Instagram too and I can lie on it”. I then offered to call the cops and have them confirm my id is real and she said they won’t do anything and she can refuse me service. This lady has no idea what she’s doing and she was extremely rude. I asked for a manager but I was basically shoved out of the door. Horrible experience and horrible way to try to celebrate our 22nd birthday. Don’t go here."
"Been Philly for 7 + years and have never been until last night. Wondered about it often especially when I often see so many seemingly attractive casual to provocatively dressed woman milling around the place along with what I thought was possibly some decent gaming experience to be had there.. But no,only skeeball or however spelled, some decent food and yes social if it's packed but generally speaking, Not impressed at all. Seems there there maybe just a social contagion in so many showing up there weekends. Not much to see or do outside of a very toristy insular crowd. Staff, food, drinks and people watching is alright, but that's it.Nothing I really either imagined it to be or what has been shared about the place. Save your money, and go to Barcade, and to a decent club or happening bars."
"Fully open and functioning. Masks are optional, but this bar is a cool place for adults that want a chill environment with delicious drinks. They have 4 skee ball machines that cost $1. We had a few drinks, one being the Fun Bag. It comes in various flavors and I had the Fruit punch. By the end of the night I absolutely felt the drinks but not the sluggishness from drinking. I will be back, hopefully on a quieter night. It was packed!"
"With a hipster vibe, this is a really great bar located in Northern Liberties/Fishtown section of Philly. Relatively cheap drinks, quick bartenders, good music, and few games such as skee ball and pool tables. Great place to catch a sixers game or meet up with friends for a drink. Popular on weekends but never too crowded that it’s not fun."
