I called the shop around 11:30am asking if they would set my action on my bass and have it done on the same day, Art told me to come down and he would look into it.. 30 minutes later he adjusted my neck and set the action on my bass just right. I was not expecting such speedy service, so I was really impressed. Further more, I asked Art about a new bass amp setup and he gave me a really good price on a beautiful Trace Elliot cab and amp head. To sum it all up, musicians corner is where it’s at! Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a plethora of different instruments and gear! I’ll be telling all my musician friends about this place in the future."

"I find Musician’s Corner to be a friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and ethically-responsible music store. Art is a very reasonable merchant and a highly skilled technician. Ruth’s willingness to assist you and help you find what you are looking for are only outmatched by her amiability and genuine interest in customers. They give discounts to returning customers and take the time to find out what you want, what instrument or musical accessory will suit you. While a superstore like Guitar Center may have more models pinned up on the wall, I always feel better about going to Musician’s Corner. They are truly interested in getting you set up with something you’ll be happy with, because they’re in it for the long run, and they know if they treat you well you’ll come back. Beyond excellent customer service and a great selection of quality instruments, gear, and scores of books, the people who run this place—again, Art and Ruth—are genuinely good people. I only know their names because I’ve been to the store many times and they remembered me, so I remember them. On two occasions I’ve witnessed them helping out disenfranchised people. They helped hook up a homeless sax player with a sax when his broke, so that he could continue to blow his horn on the street to get by financially, and they gave a tremendous reduction in price for a guitar going to a needy high school kid. I’m writing such a long, detailed review because I really believe in these people and believe they make a positive contribution to the Providence-area community. Definitely worth at least checking out."
