"One of three RI dermatological clinics to let bias blind them to the existence of my parasites and exposed dermis. It seems that none of the skin specialists in this state are familiar with the Wood’s Lamp diagnostic technique or aware of the existence of scalp infections that require a comb test or a biopsy to diagnose, nor are they willing to perform these upon patient request even those who, having already been gaslit by another Dermatology professional, walk in explicitly stating that their problem is not visible to the naked eye and will require these tests to diagnosed, yet all are far too willing to dismiss patient complaints as anxiety-induced delusion at the risk of public health and safety, never mind patient welfare, at least in my experience over the past six miserable, intensely painful, and unproductive, highly contagious months, during which I have been refused an infectious disease consultation as a result of being unable to provide definitive evidence of my infection, until such time as my symptoms became to severe and spread too far beyond my scalp to ignore."
