"Very nice statues and plaques that pay tribute to Jim Thorpe. Very unique history of a very talented person in US and Native American history."
"Memorial for Jim Thorpe has a lot of information. On his grave many people have left small stones and artifacts coins and such instead of flowers. It's a nice grave and memorial with articles and plaques that are very instructional."
"Nice little history site that's also his grave. Reading all the plaque you can tell the man truly lived and accomplished much in his time. It's all laid out very elegantly in this space"
"An amazing Olympian and professional athlete: Jim Thorpe - if you are nearby this is a worthwhile place to stop and pay tribute to the first Native American to win a Hold Medal and he did it in two events. Plus, he played professional football and baseball. Burt Lancaster played him in a film honoring his life. Unfortunately, he was stripped of his medals for violating the amateur sports rules for Olympians but his medals were restored in the 1980s. Beautiful tribute to an amazing man."
"Pretty cool! Jim has a much better tomb than a lot of more famous dead Americans. It’s well kept and worth a stop."
