Reviews of Damon's Grill
"Food is good to grab a quick bite, the issue with me is that for some reason my tummy instantly got bloated. Maybe the food is over fried with old oil."
"Atmosphere is great and the server was friendly enough. For some reason after I ate the black and blue burger I started feeling nauseous. I only ate lunch and did not drink any alcohol.. I didn't really like the cheese curds at all to be honest, I didn't finish the burger.. Overall nice experience this could just be me not really sure."
"I had a delightful experience at Damon's Grill! The food was excellent, served at just the right temperature with generous portions. I ordered the Pot Roast with savory gravy, accompanied by a loaded baked potato and a side of crisp French fries. We also tried the pulled pork quesadilla with fries, which was a hit. I'd rate the food a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The staff, including the waitresses and kitchen chefs, were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The restaurant boasts a pleasant, ambient atmosphere with plenty of TVs and projectors, offering a spacious environment. I'm looking forward to returning to explore more of their diverse menu and perhaps enjoy a variety of beers."
"This is a large sports bar & grill. Lots of big TV’s everywhere if you need to watch a game. The menu has a general variety. It sits within walking distance of the Fairfield Inn in Hazleton so if you’re traveling this is a good, safe place to eat. The staff was nice."
"Basically, in the parking lot of Fairfield Inn so it's recommended for anyone staying there. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for it if I lived local, but it's worth the walk for anyone staying at the hotel. I got the boneless buffalo nuggets, the BEAST burger, and the soup of the day (some sort of steak and potato soup) the 1st night. Nuggets were amazing. They actually had chicken and not just breading. Soup was meh, but the burger was honestly awful. Arguably one of the driest burgers I've gotten. Ordered it medium, it was definitely well done and I think they forgot the sauce so it was just like eating flavorless jerky, almost like the cook doesn't know you need to add fat content to lean meat grinds. It was the burger that earned the 4 stars and not 5 for the food. Next night was the Philly egg rolls which were good but came with a sweet chili sauce which was a weird mixing of flavors. The egg rolls were good by themselves, and the chili sauce was good by itself, but the combination is awkward. They should come with cheese sauce instead or something more to that taste. Got the Italian wedding soup which was much better than the steak soup the night before and then finished with the prime rib sandwich which was the best course I had. Tender meat, flavorful, au jus on point, it was worth it. Both nights the staff was friendly but I will say a bit slow. Not their fault, at one point the bar area had 13+ people at it and only 1 bartender who had to take care of all of them and still the drinks for the rest of the restaurant. They were nice and as quick as they could be but still lagging which is where the 4 instead of the 5 comes for service. Atmosphere 5/5, big, open, fireplace. Real cozy. Overall, again, not a bad spot at all if you're staying at the hotel or want to go to watch a sports game, but I probably wouldn't come here too often if I lived locally."
