"We purchase a vanity counter top and a small piece for a niche from them. They came to measure the niche and when the niche piece was ready they made us drive to their shop to pick it up and have someone else install it. We hired another installer and that's when we found out it didn't fit as the holes were cut in the wrong places. After several weeks of them trying to get us to sign off on the template for the vanity that they measured and took forever to get right we were told that remnant from the slab was not big enough for our vanity. They would not refund our money and forced us to select a different pattern.. After many delays and a lot of extra expenses the project was finally completed without any compensation from KB. Do yourself a favor find another company!"

"Moved into my house in 2015. Three years later, the kitchen sink was hanging by the plumbing, and I had to place a brace in to prevent it from falling through. The seal failed, the clamps were rusted and loose, and its a total fail. My neighbor also had the same issue after 2 years. Both house (new construction) had the granite and sink installed by KB surface. I send an email. No response. I send a message through their website. No response. I called, talked to a lady for 2 minutes and when she realized I was a customer issue, she placed me on hold for 10 minutes until I gave up. I called right back, and she decided to deal with me in a different way. She told me that she would get back to me to schedule a repair service, which I offered to pay for completely, by the way. I talked to plumbers who told me they would not touch that kind of jobs because of liabilities with granite breaking, so I'm just happy to have anyone come by. Its been 3 weeks since that phone call, so I assume she just wanted to get rid of me. You can make your own conclusions about KB surfaces based on the above, for both craftsmanship, and customer service. DL"

"1. KB cut my countertop WRONG not once, not twice but THREE TIMES. Each time the the cut was wrong and did not accommodate the sink and the dishwasher. 2. KB said they would pay for the plumber to install my sink when they cut the countertop wrong the first time. They said this in writing and then refused to pay for the plumber. 3. KB said they would credit me for a plumber again when they cut my countertop wrong the second time. They said this in writing and then refused again to pay for the plumber. 4. I had to pay a plumber over $800 for the sink install because the hole KB cut in the countertop the third time still would not accommodate the sink and dishwasher, and all of the pipes had to be re-plumbed to work with the sink that KB selected to cover up their third countertop mistake. 5. Bottom line: KB cut the countertop wrong 3 times. I was without a sink for 3 months. They did not pay for what they promised to pay for and I got stuck with the bill, paying almost $3,000 for what was a $2,0000 job."

"Had some initial issues with quality of installation and scheduling. These issues were later addressed by the company management. This shows at the end they care for customers' satisfaction."
