"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. back in the day Ponsi was a great store and really cared about others. Now that the son took over he only cares about himself and money. It's really a shame the way they use the family business and ruin it. I highly recommend going literally anywhere else. They'll probably over charge you, delay your order, screw up and won't let you refund, won't disclose policies until after, and just be straight rude. Save your money."

"I have been trying to contact this store for several weeks now. Their telephone IVR system is horrible. You can't get a live person, you can't leave a message because every mailbox is full and keeps rolling over into another one. I'm looking to buy a second chair but if I can't reach anyone, maybe I should go elsewhere. I don't want to have to drive 40 minutes one way to determine if the store is open. Maybe it's not open any longer? Anyone there?"

"My husband got a horrible bacteria infection and had to surgically have the poison removed from his feet! Thankfully they were able to save most of his feet, however, he would need specially made shoes to walk! We went to Ponzis and have been with them for several years now! Always great courteous service from the men who do the measurements and fittings! I will never forget the first pair of shoes and watching my husband take his firsts steps. Thank you Ponzi for making that happen. He had to have some adjustments it’s a process but I highly recommend Ponzi Shoes!"

"I would not even give them any stars. My aunt purchased shoes for my uncle in Nov 2019. He never wore the shoes because he passed away. She has been buying shoes since 2011 for him at Ponsi. They would not let us return the shoes for a refund because we didn't have the original box. They would give us a store credit which we would not need since he passed away. You couldn't find a box at the store to resale them. If the grief she is dealing with isn't enough since losing someone you were with for 54 years, but now she has to deal with this issue."

"After spending almost $200 I ended up with a shoe that is too tight and cannot be returned. One with mesh material was recommended and I found out today with the rain my foot is soaked. Per doctor's orders I am not supposed to soak my toe in any way. Sure hope it is ok later when I get home... Having an injury I am extremely disappointed with the fit and selection offered. Buyer beware for me. I should have chosen better. Its like buying a car - once I left the showroom too bad. But I expected more from a specialized business after explaining my situation. I called and was told policy return can only happen if they can be resold. Guess I should have figured out in the three steps I took at the store. Next time I'll be looking elsewhere."
