"Close to my home have been taking my son there for the past few years since we moved to Burlington overall experience has been very good nurses and doctors are great had no issues with all our visit ."
"Took my daughter there this evening for a bad knee injury. She was crying/screaming the majority of the time in pain. We waited 2 and a half hours. When I finally went up and asked at 2 hours why 15 people that came after my daughter were seen already she said well 3 had breathing issues. I said yes well the other 12 were issues that should have been at a primary doctor and not an er so why is my daughter being passed over for these non emergencies. The real reason comes out because no doctor has picked up her case yet. So since my daughters case will obviously be more time consuming rather than oh your child has a cough, ear infection, or tiny cut that needs a band aid (Yes that happened) they were skipping over her. So a doctor stopped by and stated she will be with her soon after one patient and asked if any tests were ordered. I said no and we’ve been waiting over and hour for some Tylenol for my screaming crying child. The Tylenol came but the dr didn’t. Three more patients came in over the next 30 mins and they all went right back. I told them we were leaving and we took her out. We drove 30 minutes to Virtua at Voorhees where they took us back within 30 seconds of walking through the door and into a room. The doctor was in the room within 20 mins. The lobby was absolutely amazing and the pediatric unit was so clean, new, and organized. Definitely make the drive to Voorhees for a real hospital experience!"
"One of the nurses on the night shift at chop Mount Holly was extremely unprofessional! I bought my son in with a fever of 102 and she said to another parent “Some people bring their children in with actual problems and others bring them in for no reason” then she looked in my direction in the waiting room. I heard one of the nurses clocking out tell that nurse to “behave” so I guess this is normal behavior for her. The pediatrician sat behind the desk for a hour and a half while my son sat uncomfortably in my lap waiting to be seen, just to tell us to go home. This is the same hospital that sent my son home diagnosed with an “asthma flare” when he actually had pneumonia! So unprofessional and I hope they can be put through trainings on how to maintain HIPPA laws, as well as having manners. I’m literally mind blown by how unprofessional that was. I hope I can talk to someone at the hospital tomorrow about my experience. They should be held accountable for putting me through that because I was genuinely concerned about my asthmatic child’s health."
