"If you love your children stay away from this place and doctor meckler! We did everything they said including formula and going to the hospital for testing He threatened to call cps on us after we did not show up for one appointment because he was concerned about our child’s weight I could tell he was fine and not losing and was gaining enough We legitimately forgot about the appointment and could not come in on Saturday when he wanted to reschedule for unless it was an absolute emergency (and our child was fine) After he threatened us I couldn’t have it -with no other choice we went to the hospital just to weigh our child because of his threats and so he couldn’t say we were neglecting our child (as well as to get others involved so he couldn’t isolate us with his “power” to call cps) And this is where 3 hospital staff including the head pediatrician and the ER doctor had an opportunity to hear his entire side of the story and see and hear all the facts They responded in the hallway understanding that we are not neglecting our child and laughing that he was an old school doctor I would never want to give anyone a negative review! unless it is something absolutely terrible like threatening the welfare of a child by including cps like we are bad parents when we went to the pediatrician to make sure our child was ok and followed many directions There are several problems with this practice and it goes beyond just doctor meckler I could rant up and down about many other things but choose not to as this is the most vital and crucial thing to understand for parents choosing a pediatrician Doctor meckler is getting old don’t let him wreck your life because he pulls the trigger too quickly on good parents STAY AWAY OR POSSIBLY HAVE CPS CALLED ON YOU"
