The Shoe Buckle

"Great selection of high end shoes, as good as it gets. Be prepared to spend top dollar. If you need orthotics stay away, unless you have common foot problems I don't, and clearly stated so. Was promised not to worry, orthotics, can and will be adjusted if they don't fit, Based on this promise, I proceeded to place my order, and had to sign a document prior to purchase (a waiver) BUYER BEWARE. No refunds allowed, and proceeded based on trust. Well, they were absolutely awful, was sure that were for someone else feet. Sales professional (Mel) possibly owner, suggested that I break them in "give them a chance"... Tried for a short while, was humanly impossible. went back to see Mel, with my wife. He looked at me straight in the eye and said "So what do you want me to do?" Completely switched gears and was clearly angry when I reminded him of his PROMISE. He took a red marker an drew a X of orthotics and said that he would send them back. That was about 4 months ago. Never heard fro (Mel) again. My $450. was essentially stolen. I'm up in age with heart condition, had to keep my cool. Lost my money. PROCEED WITH CAUTION"

"Why not make a deal with other store owners to share parking lot because CLEARLY there is no lack of parking for Shoe Buckle customers!!! Owner told us our car will get towed unless we are going to shoe buckle. Really??? How many empty spaces are here??? Only picking up food. Cars will be towed, he says. I think he can make better use of his parking lot as I saw 4 other customers walking by and none of them were for shoe.buckle."

"Beautiful women's shoes and a large selection to choose from! The salesperson was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Especially if you need a wide width shoe, they have it! Very stylish too! I will definitely shop here again!"

"I went to the shoe buckle for the first time, looking for comfortable walking shoes because my feet were hurting, Arnaldo The Salesperson spent over an hour trying to find the correct shoes that will fit me comfortably, he told that he was a professional shoe fitter and not so much a salesman, so I let him show me his expertise and the results were excellent for me because I left the store with multiple pairs of shoes and very satisfied with the superior customer service that I received by Arnaldo. I recommended this store to my friends and family. I will continue to shop at the shoe buckle."

"Caveat Emptor At the end of a long work day, standing on my feet for hours, I planned on attending a trunk show for Mephisto, advertised in the Town Topics. When I arrived the store was empty but open, and the vendor had left. I was hoping to buy comfortable shoes to wear at work, but found nothing to my taste. I was handed a pair of insoles, and proceeded to check out. I was exhausted and not paying attention. It was closing time, no one else had been shopping, and they were closing up. The next morning I realized that I had been charged $130! Returning to the store upon opening the next morning, I attempted to return them. I was told the policy was for store credit only. I argued that I had no idea that the cost of these insoles was so expensive, since they were not prepackaged. I argued that since I was the last customer of the day, and the first customer in the morning, there was no reason to force a store policy...and explained that I felt taken advantage of. He didn't budge, and I explained that was poor customer relations. Who would want to be forced to come back and purchase from a store that had no consideration for their customer's experience?"
